Using the Word; our sign above simply asks a honest question of those who are going into or leaving modern religious places and our goal is to get them to talk with us or to just go to our site and read God's Word for themselves.
If you have read this blog you may have noticed by now that our main purpose of this discernment site is to challenge you to TEST everything! (1 Thessalonians 5:21) The goal of our entire lives is to glorify God and get others to open their eyes and discern biblically what they believe and practice daily or weekly, to God's Holy Word. Why? Because today, there is so much error and false teaching on every corner in America leading many away from God not to His truth in holiness.
(Hebrews 12:14)
Based on our own experiences we believe many people are perishing in the error and the sin of man's false religious ways. Since our culture is seemingly full of signs promoting everything conceivable; we thought we would use this as well for the Lord's glory. Here is a sign we will be using and we plan to go to modern religious places and just park there as people are entering or leaving their weekly services. It will be a good tool to get the biblical truth out to people in a gentle and caring way as so few are willing to talk about the truth even though they "claim" the Lord. If they don't want to bother with us; they can just ignore us. But if they would like to speak with us; we will be happy to help them test their denominational system to God's Word. We realize this won't be popular with most people and especially the modern pastor's and that is ok. You see when we go visit their places just to ask them bible questions; they often are very harsh with us anyway. The truth is not on their side and they just can't stand up to God's Word at all and that causes frustration and anger. But we care about God's glory and all people so we feel it must be done.
We feel strong about the need to discern all things to the Word as that is what it teaches. Along with the sign for that week when we visit, we will post a blog on our site that lovingly shows people the unbiblical facts about their "own body" so they can test it to God's Word. Then they can decide if they want to repent and get in line with the Word or stay in a place that teaches lies and biblical error? This is done to contend for the faith (Jude 1:3) and expose evil (Ephesians 5:11) as the lies of spiritual falsehood being taught in these places is very dangerous. These false teachings cause people to be deceived and then stay in their sin and perish when the truth will set them free in Christ.
There is much at stake here and we take this very serious even though we know many of them want and deserve to be in such places due to their itchy ears and the lust of the flesh.
Jude 1:18
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
2 Tim 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Are you discerning all of your spiritual life today? Are you willing to test what is near and dear to you, like your life long faith and religious home? Jesus calls us to total dedication to God, not a system of man as life is ALL about Him.
