Denominations/Evangelicalism...Short on History, Short on Truth**

Have you ever considered the VERY short history of the many man made denomination/evangelical systems vs Gods eternal Word? All one needs to do is look at that most "recent founding & history" of man made religious systems to see they are just false additions to God's eternal truth given in the first century and so they should be rejected. We have listed some of them for you below so you can see just how recent they have developed:

*Martin Luther, an ex-monk of the Catholic Church started Lutheranism in the early 16th century.

*If you're a Seventh Day Adventist, your religion was created in the late 19th century aided by a woman Ellen White.

*If you are a Baptist your religious group started around the 1600's  

*If you are a Mennonite, your group was named after Menno Simons who lived in the early 16th century. 

*If you are a Methodist, your religion was created by men John and Charles Wesley in the late 18th century.

*The cults of Mormanism and Jehovah Witness sprang up in the late 1800's.

Note: If you are one of these “Church of the Nazarene,”“Pentecostal Gospel,” “Holiness Church,” “Pilgrim Holiness Church,” “Assemblies of God,” “United Church of Christ,” your religion is one of the thousands of man made new groups rooted in just the last 100 years by men. 

(Note: if you are roman catholic: your faith was given a start by pagan Constantine in the 4th century and then a false pope system started up later in the 6th century. It is indeed older then others but not biblical by any means. It held back the spread of more man made denominations by killing and controlling in the dark ages till the reformation happened in the 1500's.) 

Note: Even those who would say, "we are NOT a denomination" like the many evangelical bodies are still really just following the perverted systems of un-biblical murderous men like Luther and Calvin. 

The historical facts show these man made denominations/evangelicalism are rooted in man’s recent ways and not the early New Testament teachings of Christ and the first century Apostolic church. It was the pagan roman catholic faith and then the error filled reformation that was the seed for all the confusion today. You have thousands of different flavors (sects/denominations/names) and they miss God's truth mark! All of these denominational brands of religion started (without authority to do so) well after the early New Testament church that Jesus Himself established. Why then would you cling to them and not His true body ways that He shed His blood to redeem?

The Apostle Paul told us there is ONE body not many in:
Ephesians 4
There is one body and one Spirit

And to not cause divisions in 1 Corinthians 1:
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. ¹¹ My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. ¹² What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas; still another, “I follow Christ.”  Is Christ divided?

 And what Did Christ Think of Man Made Religion?
  Matthew 15
“‘These people honor me with their lips,
    but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain;
    their teachings are merely human rules

What are you following today in your own body..... man's ways or God?
Is it the true New Testament body and church model that Christ gave us in the first century or do you cling to the latest more recent warped revisions of man that have left the truth of a Holy God?

One thing to consider:
When Jesus Christ returns it will ALL be about Him and all these names, groups and denominations will be done away with by Him to be replaced by His true NT body. If that is the case why are you not part of that kind of body today? And if you are NOT part of that kind of body today are you really even His at all?

He said His sheep know His voice (John 10:27) so; who are you listening to and following today?

Do You Have Denominational Pride?

When we witness the gospel to people we will most often hear from those who practice Sunday religion (denominational/evangelicals) that they are proudly Baptists or Methodists or Lutherans not that they are blood bought Christians. They boldly make this declaration to us usually saying "I have been a member of "(place any denominational/evangelical name here) for many years!" They point to a building and they give money to prop up what man has made; that often is not God! They also do not boldly proclaim that they are born from above obedient Christ followers or that they are part of the biblical New Testament church as followers of Jesus Christ. Sadly they most often lift up their denominational/evangelical name as if it were the standard for God and His Holy church. Is this true? The answer is no, it is not. It may be man's created standard but it is not of a Holy God. You must know that God's standards/ways for His true body are far different and above that of the many groups and different named organizations that man has created causing much confusion and unbiblical people all around America. What seems to be even more unbiblical and very prideful is if you dare, in love, to test their beloved evangelical denomination to the bible they will defend it with great fervor but with no biblical scripture. They refuse to go to ALL of God's Word and lift it up above their man made traditions they do weekly, perhaps in vain. This is not God honoring at all! This is evangelical denominational pride and clinging to what man has done, so it is sin before a Holy God and most just ignore this fact to their own peril. We in love must speak out against it every chance we get and call others out of their false ways for God's glory.

What should we be calling ourselves then if we are truly His holy set apart people?
In the Holy Word of God we see that in Antioch the early believers first called themselves Christian's.

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Acts  11:26

There was no use of religious names for various bodies that are of men in the bible times. (Baptist, Lutheran Nazerine, Methodist etc) It was all about Christ and His true body not a bunch of twisted ways and rituals that many men have invented over the past many centuries. Please think about it will you? If you claim Jesus Christ and His truth you must make sure your faith practices are Apostolic (meaning that it matches the first century church that Jesus ordained) If just being called a Christian was good enough for the disciples why is it not good enough for today? The truth is that man has perverted, added to and changed God's design for His true body to make it more palatable, acceptable, likeable and more popular for those they to aim to seat in their pews via evangelical denominationalism/modern religion. It is indeed sinful to take pride in these systems and to hold to mans ways as you disregard the Lord's design for His true NT body.

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.  Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?  I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.  And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.  For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1 Corinthians 1:12-17

Here we see that the Apostle Paul condemned in 1 Corinthians 1 any division and Christ divided. But today people are willingly celebrating( in their religious buildings on Sunday) by practicing man made divisive and false religious ways far outside of God's Word. You cannot claim God and then follow man's ways. That is total hypocrisy, you are deceiving yourself and we love you enough to say it just as it is here. Have you in fact even tested your own body to see if you're in line with God's Word? Another important point is that if you do some history study you will quickly find NO evangelical denominational names/bodies until the 1500-1600's and before that the false pagan roman catholic faith ruled with a heavy murderous sword over most people at that time. So the question remains why are so many people still willing to lift up, proudly claim, support and practice as a ritual the denominational/man made systems every single week? We must ask you 'is it the Lord's truth you desire and to bear His Mighty name alone? Or is it the ways of a compromised emotional easy believe-ism man made system that most really love and desire to practice weekly in great error?'

In love we have to tell you if you still hold fast to man's ways (mainstream/denominational/evangelical religion) and not God's full Word for His body (in obedience); you may be who Jesus Christ talking about in Matthew 7 when He said:
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(to work iniquity is to be lawless or outside of God's law/ways)

Or was Jesus talking about someone like you in Mark 7?

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men

In closing ask yourself will you; do you walk in the truth fully or are you sitting in error via man made religion? Do you have denominational pride today and are you thus lawless and holding to man's ways? Or are you striving to be obedient and to enter through the narrow gate of eternal life through spirit and truth worship that Jesus commanded His true people will have? (John 4:24) This can only be done when you model and practice His New Testament church as shown in the bible.

Does your body look, live like or practice its gathering anything near that of God's True saints of the first century that we are told to model?

We would warn you in love that God's Word speaks of pride and it is NEVER a good thing to carry with you.

The fact is that if you name yourself by it you're practicing it, your money pays for it and you are defending it; denominational / modern religious ways are indeed prideful. It really thumbs its nose into God's face through disobedience and it is a terrible place to be. We pray that you repent and come out of man's ill religious ways and into the light of His full Word.

Why Traditions of Evangelical Denominationalism are Unbiblical**

The following post lists more reasons why man made mainstream denominational evangelical religion is false and unbiblical per God's Holy Word. Some may ask why do we speak and write about this so often? The truth is that at every turn we take for the Lord; we are confronted by people who are part of denominational/evangelical religion. Most often they refuse to take stock of what they are practicing (and they are practicing it in vain we might add) and they fight to keep doing false ways even though they cannot defend them in the Word. What is even more alarming is the fact that the modern pastors are usually the ones who reject the truth in the most harsh fashion. They hate us for reasoning these facts within their groups as they try to keep total control over the people. (This really shows they are hirelings/false teachers in the end.) This is a very dangerous place to be and since we love others we want better for them. You do realize there are some 30,000 different flavors of denominations and this is both silliness and serious sin before God. We came out of man's vain systems and so we know all too well how deceptive and seductive they are so we must speak out and stand against them for God's glory!

The following statements about evangelical denominationalism (with scripture to back them up) will help you to see the unbiblical nature and thus the danger of being involved in such things especially when you consider Jesus called His true people to spirit and truth worship, not lies or false traditions!
Please read these and meditate on the verses and ask yourself 'can you really be part of something that opposes Gods Word in so many ways'?

*Evangelical denominationalism is wrong because it is contrary to the Lord's prayer  John 17:20, 21

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;  that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

How can there be any unity with so many different names on religious buildings? Per His own words Christ cannot smile upon evangelical denominational names!

*Evangelical denominationalism is wrong as it is a vain attempt to serve God (Matthew 15:9)

And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men

Again Jesus own Words call out man and his futile attempts to worship God his own way which is vain.

*Evangelical denominationalism is wrong because Christ is not divided   (1 Corinthians 1:11-13)

Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.”  Is Christ divided?

The Apostle Paul warned against division of any kind so how can man defend his use of massive division via denominationalism?

*Evangelical denominationalism is wrong because the body of Christ is one, not many (Ephesians 4:4)

There is one body and one Spirit

When we go to talk with denominational people they usually tell us "you are not of our body".  How can this be when Paul said there is ONE body? They are is great error and they refuse to repent of it.

*Evangelical denominationalism is not in line with the apostles' doctrine (Romans 16:17-18)

Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them

Here the Apostle Paul tells us that if someone is outside of sound doctrine we are to avoid and not associate with them. Yet various denominations will partake with each other all the time in various events. How can they be following Holy scripture in this? They cannot and it is more evidence of disobedience in the ways of man's false system which is to be avoided.

*Evangelical denominationalism defies purposes of Calvary's cross (Ephesians 2:15-16)

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,  having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,  and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity

This verse tells us that Christ tore down the wall between Jew and gentile to make "one body" but you have denominational systems today putting all the walls back up in total defiance of the Word!

*Evangelical denominationalism divides families when God wants homes united (Mark 3:25)

And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand

Christ tells us that if homes are divided that is a danger and we see today all the division because of denominational names and ways created by men not God

  *Evangelical denominationalism is destined to fail and see destruction  (Mark 3:24) If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand

The Lord instructs us that nothing divided against itself can last and so denominationalism is destined to fail and die. (His return will make sure of that.)

*Evangelical denominationalism is not in line with Paul's plea for unity  (1 Corinthians 1:10) Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you

The Apostle Paul who was called by Christ to proclaim truth, commands no divisions yet that is exactly what denominationalism grows; division.

*Evangelical denominationalism is a sin that God hates (Proverbs 6:19) A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

Here Proverbs is listing what it is that God hates and denominationalism is guilty of practicing lies and sowing division and discord among brethren by their many wanderings from God's Word.

*Evangelical denominationalism implies that God is the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33)

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

The Word tells us God is not the author of confusion so just who is it that has created all the confusion with over 30,000 different brand names in denominationalism? It must be man and his perversion of God's One True Church.

Lastly, denominationalism/evangelicalism was never exampled by the Apostles so we who desire to follow their example must reject man's ways as false.

We will leave you with this question to ponder:
If the tradition of evangelical denominationalism is correct and really of God why is it that when Jesus Christ returns He will undo and do away with it all and have His True people in ONE united body that He ordained Himself? (No man made names and traditions.)

We who are New Testament Church people (rejecting man's vain ways) are indeed ready for His return as we strive in His Ways daily for His glory. But what of man's ways, religious traditions/systems and all those people in the pews, we ask? If Christ did not ordain these ways, the Apostles didn't practice them and if the Returning Savior will reject them ...................

Denominations Wrongly Re-create What God Has Done Away With in Christ

Many often ask us why we stand so strong against man made Christian denominational religion? (mainstream evangelicalism) There many answers we could give but the main reason is that it does not teach the true biblical New Testament ways of God but instead it teaches the perverted ways of man therefore deceiving millions. The man made systems, organizations, vain traditions, ritual gatherings and unbiblical ways are NOT of God but of man!

There are also MANY verses we could use but some of our favorites are:

Jesus said we must worship in spirit and truth / John 4:24

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:3

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit,
after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8

We are clearly told to be in truth and to contend for the faith lest you are not fully serving God and may not be His at all. Since we came out of that false man-made system, we know it so very well.
It was made of man (roman pagans and reformers) and has trapped many in its lies that must be exposed for God's glory. (Ephesians 5:11) While there are many unbiblical issues that our website exposes, we will focus on three of them that are most deceptive indeed. Denominational religion has wrongly recreated these three critical area's of faith that God has clearly done away with from the Old Testament.

1. Truth: In the Old Testament, God required first a Tabernacle then a Temple of stone for Him to dwell in but today He dwells in the believer via the Holy Spirit. (Acts 7:48)

Falsehood: the modern denominational religions (with help from the roman pagans) have brought back the religious building as THE major center and focus as most of them view it as "the place God dwells" as they call it "the church" which is totally against God’s Word or desire for His bride/body today.
(The true church is God's biblical set apart holy people and not any brick or mortar structure.)

2. Truth: In the Old Testament, God had special priests that performed religious duties and that were done away with when Christ died and the veil as torn.(Mark15:38) Now all men are to be priests unto God. (1 Peter 2:5 and active in the gatherings / 1 Corinthians 14:26) 

Falsehood: The modern denominational religions (with help of the roman pagans) have re-installed the lording over priest (CEO pastor) vs the priesthood of each believer and now people sit idle in pews watching those hired workers vs being active in the body when it gathers. 3. Truth: in the Old Testament the Israelite's were taught be bring animal sacrifices, offerings and tithes (food) to the temple as a form of physical worship to God. Christ’s death and resurrection became the ultimate sacrifice for us (1 John 2:2) and now His true believers are to "be" the spiritual holy, living sacrifice. (Romans 12:1-2) 

Falsehood: the modern denominational religions teach people they are still to bring the tithe and offerings to a building and their set "ritual worship services" serve as a continued form of the Temple worship activity. (Click HERE for more info on tithing.)
God wants your entire life and every thought to be His / 2 Corinthians 10:5 not just religious ritual services of man.

The fact is evangelicalism, denominations, their business like organization's, CEO pastors, the big religious buildings and all their VERY unbiblical traditions are really acting to deceive you and not teach you Christ's true New Testament church that He Himself ordained. We speak out here and where ever we can as we care about you!

So many who are being swept away in the ways of man either ignorant of biblical truth or they are just rebellious against the truth of God's Word. Our main concern is that we are obedient and proclaim the truth to all we can reach for His glory.
