The follower of Jesus Christ must walk through this carnal world and be "in it" but not be "of it" for God's glory. This can be a challenging thing but if we cling to God's Word and truth we can no doubt be victorious in it.
You may or may not know that April contains a day that many around the world celebrate as Earth Day.
Using the discernment skills we have been honing by studying God's Word daily and applying it to our lives; we can know if this day is of the Lord or of the fallen world that we are not part of.
If you look at the history of this Earth day holiday which started in 1970; one can see that is nothing more than new age and pagan practices at work in our culture that has totally rejected God's truth for a lie. The ideals behind Earth day go as far back as the book of Genesis when people began to worship false Babylonian gods and then they lift up the earth and animals over the worship of the Living God. We will leave the detailed research to you but the pagan religions of Gaia and Wicca (earth worshippers) are at the heart of this false radical green movement. In short; they believe that the planet is a Mother Earth and she is alive, to be adored, loved and lifted up. The United Nations is even in on this holiday and they promote and push the radical green agenda that threatens to control mankind (see Agenda 21 see a link on them below) right into slavery one day as they claim it is man's ONLY hope for survival. They even desire global population control that will see millions destroyed one day. (Bill Gates is spending his billions on this topic) This is a very dangerous group and mindest to be sure! These faiths ( Gaia and Wicca ) are some of the fastest growing religions in the world and they could be part of the massive one world false religion the bible warns of in the last days. Just like the current (2020) corona virus, the evil powers know they need HUGE global issues to create a global one world order.

There is much false worship and unbiblical mindset at work in this pagan day and so it is to be rejected by the people who follow Jesus Christ.
God's word talks of a day when the Lord will hand them over to their foolishness.
We read this in Romans 1
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Sadly many public schools and modern denominational churches (no surprise there) have been swept up into this foolish paganism so don't you be fooled by it. God is not mocked, He is in control and there is NO Mother Earth! He alone is the Creator who holds the world and sustains it and those who have NOT repented and been born in Him will stand before Him in judgment one day because of their sin of rebellion and unbelief.
Believe the gospel and follow Jesus Christ in obedience lest you be swept away in mans silliness and error that stands against the Holy God of the universe.
