In the first book of Corinthians chapter 11 the Apostles Paul tells us this:
Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
With Paul's inspired words from God in mind; why is it then that people who claim Christ (denominational Christians) are NOT imitating Paul or Christ the King but they are following the pagan fallen world in their ways via this holiday? How can this be we ask?
This brief article will expose why the celebration of this pagan holiday is NOT for God's true people by simply giving a brief outline of the history of Christ-mas/Weihnachten.
*From Genesis and through the entire Old Testament .... of course there is NO Christmas holiday practiced.
*From the time Christ walked the earth through the early New Testament biblical church that God ordained, there is NO Christmas holiday practiced. (Only a historical record of His birth/ birthday celebration was a pagan way.)
*The first appearance of a Christ-mas holiday celebration comes via a 4th century pagan roman emperor who merges the pagan holiday worship of Saturn done on Dec 25th with the beginnings of what later became a roman catholic... mass of Christ.
*For over 1000 years Christ-mas is held as "the mass of Christ" at the hands of the pagan roman catholic faith which is a very unbiblical group.
*Martin Luther breaks from the RC faith in the 1500's but he brings the unbiblical practice of Weihnachten holiday with him into his new but false protestant religion. (the worlds Christmas renamed)
*When the early settlers came to America they outlawed Christmas as a pagan holiday.
*As Europeans later pour into the new America as immigrants, they bring with them their unbiblical Christ-mas ways.
*It is not made a national holiday in America until 1870
*American authors and song writers of the era then add in carols, reindeer and santa to mold Christmas further into what it is today in America.... a VERY pagan holiday.
*Later in America and the world; add in massive material consumerism and carnal entertainment and the result is... a pagan holiday made even more; pagan.
As you can see, there was NEVER a time when God's biblical true people practiced this false pagan holiday. It is all made on man's traditions and lies and NOT the Holy Word of God.

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. Colossians 2:8
And Christ noted that His people will "worship in spirit and truth" John 4:24 and not in lies.
Lastly, the book of Revelation chapter 22:14-15 warns against practicing of lies by saying this:
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
With all of this biblical truth in mind; how can anyone who claims salvation and the truth of Jesus Christ practice this false pagan holiday with the fallen world?
