As a follower of Christ a person is expected to love Jesus / the truth, and obey God in all things. ( John 14:15 and Hebrews 5:9 ) Who would claim to know the bible and argue with that right?
Well you cannot go far into American man made evangelical religion and you will see a HUGE issue that smacks of error, sin and utter hypocrisy. Let us give you a hint....
Memorial day and July 4th are both on the way and we will be on our cross country trip to spread God's word during that time and this subject will come up no doubt!
In their religious places today; the American flag often hangs right up front on their stage.
Why this really matters:
I was working on some research and I heard a pastor just the other day say this:
"The American founding fathers were brave enough to fight for their freedom to self govern and we all should be thankful they did"
Now I am thankful to God to be free but I won't ever sell out my God for that freedom. American patriotism does just that! It may sound all patriot and thankful to lift up America but do you realize what this modern pastor is really saying and doing?
He is talking out of both sides of his mouth, sinning and acting in total hypocrisy here is why:
*He is claiming to be believing in God's Holy Word and says he defends and teaches all of its truth.
*But on the other hand he is defending sin and pride with his exuberant praise of American and its heritage.
Consider this will you?
Are you aware that the founding fathers picked up guns and killed other men to set themselves free from England's rules mostly over taxes. Yes indeed, these so called men of God preached a sermon then they picked up guns and led men into battle to violently kill the British and we call them heroes today.
How can this be? Is American modern pastors and their religion this deranged today?

What is the truth per God's Word? Was America really born at the will of God or in sin?
Now consider Jesus the author of the faith.
Did he or would he ever go to war and kill men over money?
He said this about money:
And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.
Mark 12:17
No... Jesus was known as one who was not about the things of this world ( money and politics ) but about the Fathers kingdom.
How about Apostle Paul, would he or did he fight for his own freedom at any cost?
Paul said this:
So both Jesus and Paul were peaceful men who would not have killed to gain money or liberty but were set on heaven not the earthly things.
So America was indeed born over a war, violence and death for liberty, money and personal freedom.
Does this sound godly to you?
Does the bible tell us about how to deal with the governing authorities over us?
Yes as Peter said this in 1 Peter 2:
Is there a time to disobey those authorities? Yes indeed and scripture teaches us that as well. Go read Acts 5:29 where Peter says we must obey God not men. When mans laws break God's law we follow God and disobey mans law. But that does not mean we get a gun and start killing in Christ's name. That is sinful and would show a lack of respect for God's Word. It really means we then would be willing to pay the price to follow God. We will go to jail or perhaps be executed. A big difference between making war and obeying God would you not agree?
I could go on with more scripture but the case has been made clearly against American patriotism and the evangelical modern pastors who lift up the founding fathers as heroes when they were in sin. In truth; they were ALL sinning against God in their killing, making war over money and personal liberty.
***This is more evidence how corrupt, sinful and hypocritical denominational/evangelical religion is today per God's Word.
When Menmorial Day and the 4th of July roles around American churches will bust with red white and blue patriotic pride ( it is really idolatry) when they should be holding to and teaching ALL truth from God's Holy Word.

The modern pastors when tested will say they love and teach all of God's truth but they have idols like the founding fathers, tax money and their own freedom before them and they wont repent of it all. They have sold the Word of God out for popularity as preaching the truth like we just laid out here will NOT fill up buildings or make the offer plate bulge. Jesus did say the world will hate His people not embrace them. See Matthew 10.
So why are you still sitting in their pews we ask????
Do you belong their with the other hypocritical goats who fill their buildings or are you God's holy called out one?
