We have had so many opportunities to share the truth since we left Missouri to head out west for 4 months. (We do not record them all here, only select ones ) On this day we had discussions with a lady who contacted us via email after finding & reading our website: www.dontperish.com
She mentioned how she enjoyed our site but disagreed with several areas of biblical doctrine.
*head covering daily and in public
*losing your salvation / once saved always saved
After we reviewed the gospel together we went into these topics and went deep into what God's Word says. We sent her our bible teaching articles on once saved always saved to show her that she is in error in that area.
She never really came back in depth about it only stating that she believed salvation is a super natural act of God and it cannot be reversed. While we agree with the act of God, we have issues with her second statement. The bible is full of warnings about turning back from your faith. We list MANY scriptures in our teaching. God does not force anyone into salvation and it is a combination of His act with our faith that brings eternal life. She is in error and we hope she repents of that ill theology.

The next topic was head covering. She agreed it was biblical but ONLY for praying and speaking God's Word. We went into great detail on it and gave her MANY reasons why it should be practiced.
We have various articles on it and gave them to her to review and she said she would. She did come back with a email giving some puzzling responses.
She was saying things like:
*Angels can't hear us pray silently so you don't cover for them
* Covering when men are around is when it counts most
*Praying out loud is real prayer not silent prayer
We addressed all of those biblically to lovingly correct her in the Word
*God hears all and He sends angels to do His bidding
*Paul said cover when praying or speaking God's Word 1 Corinthians 11 and it doesn't matter who is around.
*Clearly God sees our thoughts so prayer is BOTH out loud and silent
Then she said 'what if she wants to cover all day but her husband says no'?
We gave her Acts 5:29 and told her to obey God before ANY man.

We hope these truths will help her go deeper in God's Ways as a woman.
We saw some troubling signs in her that are sooooo very common all over this nation and in man made religion.
1) She did not come with her husband to talk with us
2) She did not want to talk via the phone, that is always a sign of people hiding things
3) She gave us conflicting info on her husband when we asked about him ( he is or is not a true believer?)
4) We saw feminism in her ways from the start
She is like many woman today out on the internet alone, refuting men, teaching others, getting her doctrine and being deceived by bad theology. In this case she has a believing husband it seems(????) at home but she is not keeping her bible questions for him as Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 14.
We love her and we pray she turns from those ways and seeks God's truth for all of her life.

Jesus said FEW will find eternal life and he warned MANY religious people will be turned away by Him as they are sinful/law breakers going against His ways to do their own false ways.
