As we speak to the about the things of God, we often hear people say:
If you had a deathly illness you would want to get tested and do something to help yourself correct?
Please do not hide from testing yourself and your religious body as most do. Actually the result will be the same.... death. (spiritual death in this case by sin via poor doctrine and a lack of full truth)
"Well my religious body or my college or our pastor is biblically sound!"
In love and concern we help them to see that man made evangelical/denominational religious bodies, it's colleges and even the modern pastor role of today are NOT biblically sound but in great error/sin before a Holy God. We test them to God's Word ( the only standard ) and show them the real truth.
Today's man made religious places are either guilty of all or at least some of the following:
worldly, carnal, doing pagan ways, not teaching all of God's Word, unholy, using false gospels, denying God's commands, feminized, occult, loving the worlds ways, greedy, sexualized, disobedient, vain, profound and vile.
But in most all cases when shown the sin in their midst religious people just deny it and say:
*Well we may have some issues
* No body is perfect
*We all have sin you know
They totally ignore the testing, bible proof and the diagnosis given them that they have MANY unbiblical issues. In an almost delusional state, they go on as usual in their weekly religious sin still claiming they are really biblically sound ?
How very sad.
Is that a biblical God honoring response or answer? Jesus said to strive to be perfect in Matthew 5:48 so their response is one of a carnal sluggards not a godly saint.
This common religious situation we see all over reminds us of this example that may illustrate their foolishness:
Lets say you apply for a really great job with good pay and many wonderful benefits.
They tell you that all you have to do to get the job is pass a physical exam.
So you go to the doctor and he finds out you have lung cancer, extreme high blood pressure, gangrene in one leg and killer blood clots in the other. Could you imagine going back to that possible new employer and saying......... well other then those issues, I am in sound shape?
It would be absurd and they would laugh you out of the building and your new job hopes are gone!
Rather then ignore your sins and unbiblical issues a true child of God will strive to correct them.
Its called repentance. Jesus said repent lest you perish in Luke 13:3 It is a turning of your mind to God's ways and then your life follows it as godly obedient fruit. The Apostle Paul called us to keep the ways / traditions he handed down in 2 Thessalonians 3 and Jesus commands we be in spirit and truth for biblical worship John 4:24 that God accepts. In Mark 7:6-9 Jesus scolds the Pharisees for their man made ways and ignoring Gods commands. Then He tells them your worship is in vain!
Most people are keeping the ways handed down by roman popes, Martin Luther and John Calvin types, all unbiblical heretics and in some cases even murderous men. The real fact is American Sunday evangelical denominational religion is NOT biblical and has most or all of the sins we mentioned above. It is rooted in man made ways NOT God's NT body. It is in vain they try to do acts unto God weekly as they are NOT obedient to His Word but to their favorite flavor of man made faith. Most are false converts not truly born of God at all. They are the sinful, carnal, ungodly and itchy eared places Paul spoke of in 2 Timothy 4.
