Today we met a man named Ben sitting in his broke down truck camper in Walmart parking lot. He said he had the parts and would fix the truck the next day. I gave him a gospel tract and we chatted a bit before he was off to go to bed for the night. That next day he came over to our camp spot and offered me a cup of coffee. We had a great biblical talk and I learned he was a claimed believer, his wife just divorced him and took all he had but his old truck. He was headed to Nebraska to start a new life for winter but left 4 children back in Wyoming that he really loved. He shed tears as he talked about it all. He admitted to being lonely and also to past drug use. He still had sinful issues he was practicing daily that anyone could see. ( he also claimed to sell medical pot ) I thankfully got the chance to give him the biblical gospel he lacked. He was thinking God's grace will cover all his daily sin even those he ignores and continues in for years. I shared how if we are really born again we are made NEW 2 Corinthians 5:17 and we can over come sins via God's power. I warned him about how our sins will find us out and we need to leave them all and strive to be holy for God. He thanked me and was excited to get to our website and learn more of God's Word.
Note: when we left later that day; sadly we did see many police cars over by his vehicle. I walked over to see if I could help but Ben was gone as the police searched about his truck.
We pray he heeds God's Word and repents unto new life lest he be deceived by false and sinful ways of the flesh.
