We were in a public place in Iowa having coffee and doing some ministry work online after a summer long mission trip out west.
A man approached us and saw my bible saying ....so your getting into the Word?
I explained who we were and what God has called us to do via dontperish.com
He told us who he was and who he was involved with. A group called Team Jesus.
He said he was saved from drugs and now he goes out into the world and prays for people and lays hands on them to heal them. This was a warning sign! We see these groups often. They say they are delivering people out of some sins but they are NOT biblical and have demonic influences in their ways.
I asked him what was the biblical gospel and he did not have it.
It didn't take long to see his theology was way off the Word and he was involved in heretical unbiblical groups and false theology.
I started to share bible truth with him and he said to me....
"do you have back trouble ...like your mid back? ( he gets knowledge from God I guess? )
I said I do have back issues but mine is much lower. ( most men my age have some back issues don't they )
He then said to my wife ... do you have neck issues? She does occasionally but then many people do...
He claims to have power to heal people and do you see what they do.
They try to show God's power by pretending God is telling them things via the spirit. The problem is .... both my wife and I have much more serious issues at this time and he did not get them right at all! Why not ....if God is telling him truth?
Lets be honest, if satan is involved perhaps some of the do have powers but it is by witchcraft and Gods people are to avoid it.

We tested and found out he is part of Team Jesus in Iowa ...a unbiblical ministry linked to false teacher Bill Johnson and the heretical demonic NAR groups. I tried to warn him about the sins of these groups. He laughed and said no, we are biblical and we heal people and even raise the dead! Really I said....
I shared biblically how that is not true using scripture then.... he had to go. He had not time to go deep in the Word and see why his ways are not of God. I told him to test himself to the Word.
He wanted to lay hands on us and pray for us and I told him no thanks. I lovingly said you go pray in your closet like Jesus taught us to. ( they make a big scene out of prayer in public and so called healing) He walked off.....
Later he walked back as he left and he said in a harsh voice; I should not be speaking that way about God's people as we are to all unite under Eph 4. I told him NO sir... we are to test and divide on truth ... Jesus came to divide and it is the Word of God that divides out His true people. See Matt 10 where Jesus said that Himself.
He left saying he loved us. Nice but he is a dangerous unbiblical man spewing ill demonic ways all over Iowa.
See these links on Bill Johnson and Team Jesus that expose them as sinful!

He tried to focus on love and healing and not on doctrine. While love is good, it is NOT the lone marker of God's true people.
It is truth and obedience to holy scripture that must be there also. Heb 5:9, John 14:15 and 2 Thess 2:15
I see a common thread with his type.....
He was very strange in his body actions, he had very creepy weird eyes and a carried himself/spoke in a very different way then most people. These groups are the ones who twitch, laugh uncontrollably, fall and rolled all over saying it is of God's Spirit but it is more like Hindu occultism then of a Holy God.
Sadly, I find this is very common with these demonic groups. Could they be opening themselves to demonic ways and spirits? It very well could be....
Please be warned of these NAR groups. The truth is NOT in them but evil and deception is in them!!!!
Do not receive their prayers or laying on of hands as they are twisting God's Word and being influenced by doctrines of demons!
