Gospel of the Kingdom / and Paul's Gospel Made Clear...

Many people in the kingdom type groups today ( Mennonite, Hutterite and other fringe cult groups )  are preaching a false / incomplete gospel. They are focused mostly on Jesus words in the sermon on the mount as they down play the blood / cross of Christ in their gospel. They are preaching the " gospel of the kingdom " and discounting what Paul taught over and over after the finished work was done by Christ.  

 Is that what we should be focused on today a incomplete message or the finished gospel that Paul preached?

 Lets study to see what God's Word reveals to us: 

 The word kingdom is used 154 times in the NT bible.
Gospel of the kingdom is use 5 times total. 

 Example:
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Matt 4:23

 Is this important? Indeed!
Jesus was proclaiming He, God, had come and God's kingdom was at hand but there was MORE to come that we need to know. 
While we adore the sermon on the mount truth and would never discount it, is it our FINAL / COMPLETE Word and gospel message for today? No it is not and here is why.

 1) Christ was yet to die and rise again (shedding His blood for sin and defeating death at the resurrection and choosing a messenger to the world.)  He tells us in Luke 24 what will be preached from then on:

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. 

*This is how you enter the kingdom by His shed blood and resurrection!

 2 ) In Acts 9, Christ Himself calls Paul to go and be his called one to the world and then God gives Paul special truth/mystery to complete the gospel to eternal life that was focused on Christ crucified always in near or around his gospel proclaiming. 

 This is a very lofty calling one other NO MAN has ever had. 
It is true that Paul used the term God's kingdom 22 times and he ( as we do ) believed in and fought on for that kingdom. The truth is the biblical gospel Paul preached / its new life in the spirit, that it alone can prepare a man's heart and life for the kingdom of God. It is a beautiful thing really and it includes Christ death burial and resurrection!

Important point:
But as I always tell these false kingdom teachers; Paul never used the term gospel of the kingdom. Not even once! Why? If Jesus hand picked and trained Paul and we are to today preach a gospel of the kingdom message, why is Paul void of it? 

Could it be Paul was given more, the completed work,  a mystery/revelation of the full truth since Christ had since been resurrected? Scripture tells us that is a HUGE yes as these verses prove! Paul and Jesus gospel mesh perfectly but Paul focused on the Risen Christ as the path into the gospel.  


Ephesians 3
For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
Paul also said:

Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
Romans 16

 It is clear Paul was given a mystery via the Lord and it involves the finished life saving gospel, Christ crucified.  So we need to ask what was that gospel he Paul proclaimed? If you do a word study on the term gospel in Paul's writings, it is ALWAYS linked to Christ's death burial and resurrection and never linked by words to a kingdom gospel. 
 Yet these kingdom teachers will tell you the gospel is NOT Jesus shed blood or He is risen! I say to them, have you not read Paul when he said this:  

Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
2 Timothy 2:8

and

According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
1 Timothy 1:11

 Paul claimed he was preaching the true gospel, it was given to him by God and it was a revealed mystery. What more do I need to prove?
Jesus was showing the kingdom and getting ready to make the completed gospel the path, His death burial and resurrection.  
It is very clear to see that Paul was given MORE revelation about the gospel and we need to heed that if we believe Jesus own words in Matt 4:4 commanding that we live by every word out of God's mouth. 

 Are not Paul's words.... God's very words to us? ) he said he was given commands in 1 Cor 14) 

 I have been told by these false teachers that Jesus words trump Paul's so I ask them, shall we rip out over 50% of the NT word that Paul himself wrote by God's spirit? (excluding the gospels and Revelation ) Shall we not focus on the death burial and resurrection of Christ?  It is rank heresy for these false kingdom heretics to demean Paul's words/truth/gospel and go only with the sermon on the mount truth alone/gospel of the kingdom as their gospel. Sadly often these men bring with them many more heresies like ecumenical-ism, eating Jesus real flesh and drinking Jesus real blood, water baptism and many hereises! 

 Note: These same groups will focus on Jesus words only for their gospel but they willingly go to Paul's teachings to train on head coverings, against sodomy and qualifications for elders/leaders because Jesus never taught on them. What hypocrisy they show.

Do not be deceived folks. 

 God's Word is a progressive revelation and we do not stop in the gospels but we must heed what the man (Paul) that God Himself picked /trained to tell the rest of the gospel story said to us. In doing so, this is not lifting up Apostle Paul. 

 No not at all.  It is lifting up ALL OF GOD's Word for teaching and instruction! 

 2 Tim 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

What I see among anabaptists is the lack of focus on the completed gospel, the Risen Christ thus they are often void of the spirit/truth that only new life (2 Cor 5:17) can give. I shall continue to preach Christ crucified as the way to enter the Kingdom as my gospel message to the lost world as God Himself trained/commanded Paul to do so.
