Why am I writing about this?
I hope a Nascar fan finds this article and gets convicted!

In Feb 2020 I was at the Daytona 500 Track street preaching outside of it. ( see links at the bottom of this article for that video and an article on Nascar Exposed ) That visit there has me thinking about it all and I wanted to write a quick article that exposes the sin of this sport including what is breeds in men.
While I was not watching the event ( I used to watch it before Christ ) I learned there was a terrible crash at its end. I decided to look into it all (for teaching purposes only) and what I learned just cements what I have taught. This sport is vile, fleshly, full of covetousness and it is NOT of God or for Christ's true people. It trains men to be fleshly, carnal, even to be liars and seek vain glory at all costs ( even life itself ) and let me prove it here:
A driver named Ryan Newman was in the lead on the last lap and his team mate was right behind him.
There was a terrible crash that nearly cost Newman his life!
They say that his team mate was just pushing him on to win and they bumped and Newman wiped out in a crash. See the statement below from his team mate:
The truth is as people have said, in the last seconds of the race video it seems clear that Newman's team mate went low on the track and was about to pass him to take the lead.
Newman then did what they call a block and basically turned in front of the car about to pass him to stop him and win the race. This caused a bump / minor collision, he spun out and was almost killed in a fiery wreck that sent him to a hospital for a recovery.

A race reporter said:
( what foolishness and I am so grateful to God that he set me free from clinging to such a fleshly sport )
This all proves what I have taught and claimed about Nascar!
They are covetous to win and will do just about anything to do so.
Newman is going to recover thankfully and we hope he is a man who seeks greater wisdom in the future.
Note: days later, many are ADMITTING that the blocking and selfish covetousness to win at all cost is what is casing all the crashes these days.
By the way, as soon as crashes happen everyone is PRAYING to God. They ignore God's commands to obey Him to go seek glory and tease their flesh then they cry out to Him when we loose control and death looms? How very disingenuous, fake and God is NOT mocked! Gal 6
The greater issue is that sport ( like all the others ) makes men very fleshly, carnal, seeking vain glory and having pride to win, they are so covetous; they will risk their very life God gave them to win for fleeting fame / money! They also will twist about it all to save face and team reputation; all for their sport and reputation.
They are tempting God to win in greed then they strive to cover up their covetous ways and sin.
If you think these things in ANYWAY has anything to do with a Holy Holy Holy God of the bible, you have a false jesus and need to repent or you will perish in your sin. I want better for you my neighbor and so I go their to preach. I also write here to expose this sport and the men who drive in it then hook people even children on its fleshly carnal ways like a drug.
It is a offering of satan himself so you must reject it to please God!
