As followers of Christ we are to lead our homes in God's ways in all things, including the raising and teaching of children. Sadly we see parents sending children off to public schools where they are influenced by the godless and sinful culture within them. We want to encourage those of you who are born of Christ, to do all you can to keep your children out from under the worlds system and at home where they belong with you.
As this corona virus 'pandemic' ( March 2020 ) continues on and the powers that be in this world system, create their own agenda, we encourage those of you who are now forced into homeschooling your children to continue to do so even after they open the schools back up (if and when they do.) Now is the PERFECT time for holy families to reorganize their priorities and start home schooling fr God's glory.
God has created the family unit with the father as the head and leader, the mother as the helper to him and the children to be raised and taught by them. Regardless of whether you are married or not, you need to strive to do your best to get your children under your supervision and train them in the ways of the Lord.
Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6
Public school systems do not train a child in the way he should go (in the ways of God) they train them in the ways of satan's worldly ungodly system.
Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Deuteronomy 11:18-19It says 'YE' shall teach them, not someone else. We are not to be conformed to this world neither teach our children to do be.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2
If you have already been homeschooling, we commend you. If you are just now having to do it because of the virus issue, we encourage you to continue to do so. In the years we have sought God and done ministry; we met hundreds of people / families but we have NEVER met anyone who regretted homes schooling. We have met many who did not do it and did regret it!
There are many options available for homeschooling. Some people make their own curriculum or use a blend of various programs. Some people use those that are Christian based. Some people use the secular programs but teach their children the differences between what the world teaches vs what God's word says. Through all this, your children will be taught by you, in the protection of your home, away from ungodly influences and peer pressure for sin. The parents are responsible for making sure they protect their children the best they can until they are old enough to make their own decisions.
Yes, many of you are thinking how hard this could be and you are correct. Take stock and make a plan to see all the things you could cut out that are NON essential vs your child's innocence / foundation in truth and Christ. The Christian life has many hardships to it but what is a small sacrifice to learn how to home school compared to the soul of your child?
