Can I Keep Sinning as a Christian? Email Question Answered

I received this email from Europe and I like to answer it for all the saints to be edified by it.

I'd like to ask a question.

I have downloaded several of your studies/topics and I read them in my evenings. I haven't found a single one so far that I don't agree with.

**** this is good as God's Word is true!!!

I love that! Yet, I DO have one issue, maybe you can shed some light on that.
No matter the topic, you present Bible truth in the most uncompromising form: "You must be like this, this and that. You must be perfect!" And you're even right there. Jesus told us so.

*****If you look at the Greek word: teleios
the better word for us in English is fully mature.
We can strive to grow and become mature in the truth and ways of God. Aim for perfection though as God is worthy of it.

BUT we aren't.

****this is true, we will miss perfection and all fall short even as believers at times. But we are called/commanded to strive for the mark (perfection/maturity in Christ) and to repent of all sin. He will forgive 7 x 70 if we repent and forsake them.
No sin is forgiven you have not forsaken. Its true. Ponder that!
Any sin you hold on to and keep doing wilfully is on your account to damn you.  Remember the woman caught in adultery and the blind man Jesus healed.... both were told to go sin no more. The truth is if God is in you , you will now hate sin and strive to leave it all never happy to stay in it. The spirit rises you above it all in power ot live holy. Read..... 2 Cor 7:1 "cleanse all filthiness, perfecting holiness in the fear of God"

The standard you present, although absolutely true, is not active truth in my life, my friends life, any Christians life. We're in a life-long process of denying ourselves and being more conformed to the image of our Lord. Hopefully, the longer, the more.

***** again agreed but the line of importance is really your view of sin and how you walk now. If you are born again.... Romans 8 says walk in the spirit NOT the flesh and Psalm 119 says we are to hate every false way. The Father knows our hearts doesn't He? Are we toying with sin/staying near it or running from it, killing flesh and plucking it all out as fruit we are of Him? If I did not hate all sin and try MY best (that is loving God) to leave it all asap... I would test my conversion to see if I am made new? 2 cor 13:5

Okay, here's the question: Are you saying, people are lost if they fail in a few or in several or even many of those points?
That's my impression when I read your writings. But English is not my native language, so I might have not gotten it right.

**** to be clear (and thank you for asking and not assuming) it is more then failing here or there. It is if we sin willfully (keep sinning and not stopping it) after knowing the truth, the Word says there is NO sacrifice left. Hebrews 10:26
It is a dire warning indeed!!! Like a homosexual staying in it or a drunk not leaving booze... God will NOT be mocked will He?
Gal 6;7 And Heb 5:9 says He made the way for those who obey and John 15:14 says you are His friend IF you keep His commands. Again it is a heart and action issue. Is your heart all AGAINST all sin and do your actions when you fall, show the works and fruit of your faith? Wilful sin on going is a rebellion against God and NO ONE who rebels against God without repenting, will be in heaven. Ask satan!

Let me just add an example. I'm dealing with that sin I told you before. A while ago, I quit gaming, sold my Computer and I'm free from it now. Would you say I wasn't a true Christian when I was still struggling with it, engaged in it?
I hope not! :)

**** well the answer is in this: You can be a real Christian and still go to hell via willful sin. Read Acts 5 ..God kills a couple of believers for one lie. Read where Jesus says if you do not forgive a brother you wont be forgiven. Go read Luke 15 and the prodigal... he was with the father but left to go in sin and it says twice he was dead but alive AGAIN ...once he repented. I think your confusion may be in your faulty gospel needs tweaking. You do NOT have salvation locked up guaranteed yet.  Jesus did NOT die to cover all the sin you CHOOSE to keep doing. He died for past sin and now calls you to leave all sin by His spirit. It is a daily enduring showing your saving faith by how you live and deal with sin/obedience. Here are many verses where Paul says you are saved IF......
http://spiritandtruthdiscernment.blogspot.com/2018/08/if-verses-that-refute-once-saved-always.html
Most of the world has this false gospel but God's Word is true.

I'm totally saved by Grace through Faith. Works prove my faith, prove my love towards Him, but sadly will always fall short of Gods standard in this life.

**** Grace and Faith do save us but NOT those alone. Not one verse says faith alone or Grace alone. We are saved by God's Grace, when we place faith in Christ to new life and we then as fruit that He is guiding us, we walk in His ways striving/obeying in fear to salvation and enduring. Read Phil 2.."work out salvation in fear and trembling"
Willful sinning (sin you keep choosing to do like porn viewing, not sins you mistakenly fall into like just a bad thought or your flesh rising up) and claiming to be following Jesus is a lie.
Need proof? 1 John 1:6
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
Again ponder how your salvation is NOT done yet and walking in sin you will NOT repent of and pluck out, is open rebellion against God. It is NO excuse to say I will sin. Paul mentioned His flesh in Romans 7 yes but in chapter 6  he says shall we keep sinning, God forbid. We can walk in the power of God and leave and put away most all sin.
And when we do sin he is faithful and just to forgive if we CONFESS. That means e agree with God and LEAVE that sin then it is covered.
If you return to your vomit/same sin over and over willfully you have NOT repented of that have you? It is the inner flesh man that can rise up with thoughts or emotions but you choose to walk it out and do them. We can choose to NOT do them amen? This is the fruit you have a true saving faith as you overcome and in Revelation... Jesus says you MUST over come to be saved. It is faith and works together just as James says but a true saving faith will never leave you in willful sins. The Father wants better for you. I cant tell you how much sin you can keep doing and still make it to heaven. But I know this... if God is in you, you walk in the spirit, you will HATE all sin and have the POWER to leave / over come sin and it wont rule you anymore. Isn't that wonderful? He has made that way for us now walk in it if you are born of Him and the spirit will indeed convict you of any sin that will endanger your soul, then you MUST follow, obey and leave it or be lost as a rebellious sinner. ( if not then everyone goes to heaven in their sin and that makes a mockery of God)
We are victorious saints brother... NOT sinners.... if we are born of Him.

It'll be much different in the next...

**** amen it will be but we MUST strive to enter in. Jesus said so in Luke 13:26

This is probably the longest mail I've written on my phone...

**** you did well and thank you for your well thought out and kind question. They are always welcome and we are here for you!

Have a good day

And thank you for your hard work!

**** You as well and to God be the glory
