The Word of God warns us to be on guard for the enemy of our soul satan (the old serpent) who is a destroyer but in the opposite way, Christ is our Life giver.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Satan is the enemy, a murderer and a thief, the very opposite of our Father in heaven. Per scripture, he is the god of this world 2 Cor 4:4 so we need to be wise and not let him in or near us to allow him to do his evil, false, destructive ways upon us or in us, as God's holy people.
For this article, I wanted to list some ways satan is currently working opposite of God in the world / religious places so you can be wise and alerted against him. Some are very obvious but you will see he is crafty, and others are not as obvious at all.
Lets get started.
* Men marrying men... when God said man marries woman. Genesis 2
* You can choose your gender... when God made them male and female. Genesis 2
* Killing unborn babies for freedoms...when God said do not kill / seek obeying Christ for freedom. Exodus 20 / Heb 5:9
Those are very the obvious ones many saints see, but here are some you may not be aware of so be alert to them:
* Religious places say it's ok to be proud... when God says he HATES pride. Prov 6
* Modern churches say 'do not separate people' ... when Jesus came to separate. Matthew 10
* Emotional instrumental fleshly music ...when God says sing with your heart/lips, be not in the flesh. Eph 5 / Romans 8:1
* Woman in charge/teaching...when God said only men are to do so. 1 Tim 3 / 1 Cor 14
* Out of order tongues/foolish jabbering ...when God says He is of order. 1 Cor 14:33
* Total lasciviousness in clothing ...when God says cover up and head cover. 1 Tim 2 / 1 Cor 11
* Slain in the spirit with twitching/convulsions ...when God's spirit brings peace, joy and calm. Gal 5 / 1 Cor 14
* Selling God's truth ...when Jesus said give it freely. Matthew 10:8
* Modern churches go in debt...when God says owe no man, Romans 13
* Religious people today talk to the dead.... when God said do NOT do it. Lev 19
* Religious people say 'get tattoos'...when God says do NOT mark your body. Lev 19
* Worldly carnal lives of so called saints ...when God says be holy. 1 Peter 1 ;15
* False pagan holidays like Easter/Christ-mass ...when God said keep only His holy ordained ways. 2 Thess 2:15 / Matthew 4:4
* Compromise in the modern church body....when God says have full unity. 1 Cor 1:10
* Modern theology says you can sin on ...when God says go sin no more. John 8
* Sports that are covetous to win ...when God says do NOT covet Exodus 20
How about this strange one:
* Gold dust falling in NAR church places as a 'so called' miracle sign/blessing ...when Moses made Israelites drink the ground up golden calf dust as punishment. Exodus 32
and lastly this occult one.....
* Drink Jesus REAL blood in religious communion ...when God said do NOT drink blood. See Acts 15
There are many many more as satan is working to over take the world into his coming antichrist system. see Rev 14
If you seek, test and ponder for yourself you will see those many more ways this enemy is working in this last day culture to destroy God's creation. Satan will fail but for a season we must endure his wrath against us. Be alert ye saints of the Most High God and....... you will NOT be deceived.
Peter warned us: 1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
