Van Dwellers Street Preaching Christ Journal April 11 2023

We travel all over America as (self funded / full time) van dwellers to street   preach/witness Christ crucified to the lost culture in the streets, at religious places, events and any open market places.

Our desire is to be in van life to preach Christ crucified, disciple saints via His truth and reach the lost. The following is our journal that shows latest posts, teachings, places, events and interesting things we encounter in van life for  Christ to edify you and other offerings from our website.

April 10 2023

We started the day with a perfect spring sun filled morning. We are setting up some future travel plans and seeking out some events we may try to get to and that took up some time. Then we hit the road and had traffic to drive through as we headed north.

Of course gospel cards go out all over as we go. These at a dent bent food store and a bench under a roof I walked by

At our last parking spot, we walked over to a neat street like antique square with all kind of old things.

I picked up some really discounted belts in a thrift and I was looking at that word (girdle) in scripture. I think a teaching is coming on that soon so; stay tuned.....

We stopped at that food store and I saw these neat wooden utensils and I had to think of the Lords time back then and how they may have used wooded spoons and forks.

I got to meet a handicapped man the other day, we talked and it was a real moving moment for me. Do you take time to see the people around you and ponder it all in the eternal scope of Gods truth? If you have a heart hungry for the Lord and to live then share it with others; you will be affected by such things. I encourage you do not just rush through life but live, see, experience, discern and react.... biblically.

I saw this old van and I realized something profound about van dwelling life. When you reduce down your space you live in, the world gets much bigger. And when your life is emptied out and has God's truth in every aspect of it, everything takes on an even bigger eternal perspective that is unmatched. Just some thoughts.....

John 18:28 and Confusion Over Jesus Passover Meal

Here is an interesting topic that attempts to explain why John has a  different account then the other 3 gospels over Jesus Passover supper regarding the religious leaders and their meal.

Sister Aman Shares:

Greetings in love to my sisters in Christ!

The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Psalm 126:3

I read Psalm 126 (for the audio bible readings for women, you can find that HERE and 2 Corinthians 9 reading is up HERE) and while doing so, had to stop 4 times because there were ambulances, fire trucks and police officers going by, heading to an accident that blocked the highway.  We decided to find a place to park for a while before getting on the highway to our next desitation (which was backed up because of the accident) and have lunch. Meanwhile I was thinking that I sure hope that if anyone died that they were truly serving the Lord or if they got hurt, maybe they will see the futility of this life with out Him, the truth!

Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
Ecclesiastes 1:2

I love the book of Ecclesiastes, it sums up life without Christ...from the beginning to the end...(and yes I used this verse yesterday but I love it so much I'm using it again tonight:)

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

This morning, I saw these flowers while heading to the marketplace to meet up with brother Tupos to be ''fishers of men'' and working out our travel plans and other important things. I always have coupons for inexpensive coffee with complimentary refills and as I was up there getting a refill, I told the woman that they do an awesome job.

Their place was super clean and I asked her if there was a way I could send in a compliment or fill out a survey.  She went to the register to print out the survey code and I gave her a gospel card and she was thanking me over and over.

I'm thankful to be a simple servant of the Lord and hope she reads and heeds the truth and we are here to help her, or anyone.

The other day I was in the store and when I checked out, I saw this woman had this little sign hanging off a string. I asked her about it and if she was a Christian, because that's a summary of some scriptures, and she emphatically claimed she was, which opened the door for giving a gospel card and sharing but it was very brief because there were people behind me.  (I asked her if I could take a picture to use on my post and she was very happy to comply.)

I love to see those straight roads...

...and tracks. We want to be on the strait way don't we, not the crooked and perverse way we used to be on.

We're thankful for safe travels and the Lord allowed us to do more witnessing in this town. We were walking through a parking lot and a woman whipped her car into the parking spot we were just crossing and she apologized.  I told her it was okay, smiled and handed her a gospel card through her window as she was parking the car lol.  I try to not lose any opportunities to share that precious truth.

Titus 2 Time

Any guesses on what this is?

Shadow of socks hanging to dry in the window.  What a great blessing to have clean clothes, I'm so thankful every time I can wash something!  And this...

For my sewing sisters!  I've been doing enough hand sewing lately that I sure would appreciate even that one lol but really it's all good. I like doing it the old fashioned way but not sure that old fashioned one would work anyway.

What a beautiful flower tree!  It's full of flowers and I couldn't even capture it all on camera.

Amazing creation....

I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. [10] For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
Psalm 57:9-11

I saw all these blossoms along the curb and thought about how pretty they still look at the end of their life.  They kept their purpose all the way to the end...let us do the same sisters, keeping our purpose in the Lord until our end.

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Jude 1:25

I hope your evening goes well and the Lord watch over my faithful sisters who love Him.

The sun slipped over the hills and we are calling another day, done.

We are set and parked for the night and looking forward to tomorrow if the Lord gives it to us. Remember saints and seekers....
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lam 3:22-23

God speed..... children of the Most High
