Proclaim His Death!

What a wonderful and glorious good news gospel we have (those who are born in Him) to proclaim to the world. Jesus Christ the Son of God has come, lived a perfect life and died upon the cross to make the way for all who will believe (John 3:16) repent (Luke 13:3) and obey Him (Heb 5:9) for eternal life to come (Rom 10)

That same Savior told us to worship God in spirit and truth in John 4:24 so we encourage you to repent and come out of all error if you claim His Holy name today. Part of that error today is the false ways of denominational religion and it's Easter holiday events not rooted in the Lord's Word. Why would we say it is full of error? God's Word and the early church that Jesus set up NEVER took part in what is done today to mark and celebrate the Lord's resurrection. This should concern you if you desire truth! Please read these posts for greater details on this Easter topic:

We have told you what not to do but what should a true biblical believer be doing to be in line with the Word you may ask? We would tell you to study His Word and do what was modeled and practiced and commanded in the bible. The Apostles and early first century church had no type of resurrection rituals at all or any set special time of the year event for the resurrection. What they did do was be obedient to the Lord's instruction and that was to celebrate the Lord's Supper and in doing that they were told to proclaim His death till He comes. (there was no set schedule for this at all)
We can read about this in 1 Corinthians 11 were they were practicing the Lord's Supper (bread and wine as the focus) as a body via a meal together:
Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”   In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

The reason we are to focus on His death is because it was the vehicle by which His people are given Gods grace for eternal life to come. He was the spotless lamb who was slain for the sins of the world. He laid down His life for us and we can now become children of God due to His Holy sacrifice. Again this is great news is it not? Now it is true that His resurrection is indeed a joyous thing but we are NOT instructed to make ritual celebrations over this. (it was the roman catholic church that perverted the truth and began to do this) The best way you can celebrate His resurrection is from your own baptism into Him and the new life (John 3:3) that you have found in Him. Then as you live it out daily for His glory in holiness and obedience, that is the best form of practice/celebration God desires in His people. (obedience before sacrifice)

We come to you in love and concern to proclaim the good news and to remind everyone that His people are called to follow His Word; not mans vain ways (see Jesus own words in Mark 7)
It is a glorious thing to shed the false ways of man and to rejoice and live in the light of His Word dwelling on it night and day to honor Him as the Living and True God of Creation.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.

Psalm 1:2

Won't you consider what your practicing today and if it is in line with His Holy Word? It is not hard to do. Go read Matthew 26 and 1 Corinthians 11 to see the example of the Lord's Supper. (Remember it is only for those who are born in Him and who are walking in His Holy ways. Don't partake of it lightly lest you bring condemnation on yourself) This year won't you ask yourself this; are you just stepping in line with man's vain traditions that the Lord never ordained? It is something to consider indeed. We must be about proclaiming His death with our lives and to those around us to remember Him. It is in the truth of His Word, in the Lord's Supper together as a body, committed to Him in all things and looking for His second coming is what we are to be about; if we are to be called faithful to the end.

Rejoice in the Lord always, again rejoice......

How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10
