He said it would be 3 days and 3 nights ( 72 hours) before He would rise again correct? So how does being killed on Friday eve work out to be those 3 days and 3 nights by Sunday am that most say He was resurrected on? The answer is clear; it does not work out unless Jesus was a false Prophet and we know that isn't true.
Many will argue this information but if you have a different result please let us know? This examination we can seemingly see that not only is Good Friday a "lie" for His crucifixion day but it appears the claimed "Sunday resurrection" could also be a lie as it had to be a Saturday resurrection. Again; this seems to make perfect sense as that was the traditional Jewish Sabbath and He was Risen on that day to became our Eternal Rest (Sabbath) for all who believe in Him. (see Hebrews 4)
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Is Good Friday (the claimed day Jesus was put on a cross) a biblical truth or just man's tradition? The bible clearly warns God's true people to not be swept up in false ways or man's traditions. Even if you try to use reckoning (part of days and nights as most claim) you only get 2 nights and 2 days:
Friday day ... Friday night, Saturday day and Saturday night....then he is gone before Sunday light per scripture.....
Even their false reckoning of days makes Jesus a liar!

How can we know? By going to the Word of course.
The scriptures can tell us the truth and we can determine a correct timeline that does not match what most all men in denominational religion practice today as being Good Friday. By looking at the Jewish holiday at that time, it is believed by many that the Sabbath of that annual high Sabbath week was Thursday. Then Saturday was the traditional Sabbath. Most people get confused by using the weekly Saturday Sabbath for his death. Now we know He was not killed on Thursday the High Sabbath. We can know this by the fact they did not want bodies on crosses during that high annual Sabbath day (Thursday) from this scripture. Also Thursday lacks meeting three days and three nights Jesus sad he would be in the grave. Here is what we read about the crucifixion details in the book of John.
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day)
John 19:31
So if it was not Friday and it could not have been Thursday that he was crucified; this leaves us with Wednesday next. But does this fit the timeline of scripture?

More proof of two Sabbath days lies in these verses:
Mark 16:1

Mark says they bought the spices after the Sabbath past
But.....
Luke 23:55 and 56
And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
So Mark has then buying spices AFTER the sabbath but Luke says they prepared the spices then rested on the Sabbath.
(this further proves there was two Sabbath days that week .)

Good friday and resurrection Sunday are LIES!

Having said all of that; we actually believe that knowing the "exact date" is meaningless as we are NOT called to mark or celebrate these days at all. The simple fact is that the bible does not tell His own to celebrate Easter or an incorrect Good Friday. These are just false traditions of man and we encourage you to leave them, for His honor. We would agree you are free to make any day your gathering day (Romans 14) but keep in mind... we are "never" told to, allowed to or instructed to keep pagan ways or to ever practice ANY lies in His name. (esp those who make Jesus a liar!) Easter and Good Friday are lies promoted and practiced by man made false religion. This should matter to anyone who is truly His disciple.

The bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 11 to proclaim His death (not His resurrection) through the Lord's Supper till He comes. There is no set holy day for this Easter / Good Friday event and we are to do the Lord's Supper and as often as we do it to remember Him.
