The Lords Supper is a amazing and wonderful gift given to His set apart holy people. It is very important that we understand it and see it for the vast beauty and it's spiritual depth as well.
While many in modern religion will be celebrating a made up unbiblical holiday called Easter at this time of year; the heart of God's Word is to guide His people to His truth not error.

Part of that truth is the death of Christ as a main point of focus. Within that focus is the practice of the Lord's Supper that Christ Himself gave to His people before he was crucified for the sins of the world. Many are aware of this practice but they sadly only know it as a little sip of juice and a small cracker passed around at the end of a ritual service done perhaps twice a month. Question: Was it done that way in the early biblical New Testament church or was there much more to it then that? Let's read about it shall we?
You will find it in Matthew 26
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
Most will know that the bread is His body and the wine is His blood shed for His people. It is the symbol and foundation of the Christian faith. In this practice we are proclaiming His death till He comes back for His bride. (see 1 Corinthians 11) Nowhere are we told in God's Holy Word to celebrate a ritual resurrection event. The early church never celebrated this pagan thing called Easter. It was all a invention out of pagan roman that later became the unbiblical roman catholic faith. We talked about the way denominational religion today celebrates it (a sip and a chip) that we call "fast food communion" and it has been done that way for so very long; the original biblical way and the intent of that way has been lost we believe. Did you see in the verse of Matt 26 it says "as they were eating"? That is because they were eating a Passover meal together as was the tradition and it was a full meal. The bible says to one another each other over 50 times in the New Testament as often this was done over meals. In the book of Acts we see them going house to house and breaking bread with gladness as part of this biblical practice.
Acts 2:46
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart
Here is the point. Jesus tells us to worship in spirit and truth; not error. see John 4:24
What happens when you have a meal with someone or a group especially in a home? It is a time of sharing, servant hood, closeness. love and fellowship in the Lord; if He is at the center. Now what happens when your looking at the back of peoples heads as you take a tiny sip and a little cracker in a large often cold and stale religious building? There is no real closeness or fellowship of the body in the Lord and really it is more of a solo act when Jesus instituted it over the full Passover meal with them all face to face in love and fellowship. Please realize that man made religion has turned it into a quick, controlled solemn ritual thing when it was not so for the early church. It was their way of joyfully partaking together, being close and proclaiming His death till He comes in the Lords Supper. Keep in mind it is called the "Lords Supper" yet most people are given a "tiny little snack" only. How can this be we would ask and do you know where this practice came from?
The fact is that over time the biblical pattern of meeting house to house in smaller numbers sharing meals together and often; lasted about 300 years. It was then perverted by pagan rome as people were then ushered into special religious buildings; that were old pagan places of worship. (this was mans plan not God's) Once this happened and hundreds or thousands were all gather in pews; they could no longer practice the Lord's Supper as a full fellowship meal so they switched it to a fast food communion snack that you may well know and practice still today. They also began to teach the bread and th wine was tuned into a mystical thing which is a lie and heresy. (they are symbols nothing more) This was all done for control as those who wrongly usurped power over the body (priests and pastors) now took control of the Lord's Supper and made it into a saving power they controlled. It eventually became a mystical pagan thing in the roman catholic faith where again they "claim" it turns into Jesus actual body and blood. (the Eucharist) This is a total lie but it worked and people allowed them to control it in that way for hundreds of years. Then when the reformation came; Luther did not break far enough from the roman faith and he kept many of their ill doctrines and yes, food communion was one of them sadly. God's way is always better than mans is it not?
What we want to share with you is the fact that it can be taken back and you can practice the biblical Lord's Supper to honor God fully. By sharing this meal and practice in small groups with other like minded holy believers you know are of God, you will grow and see the intimacy and beauty of His plan vs mans traditions that cannot please God. The Word also does not tell us when to do this; only as often as we do it for we can do it as often as we like in His name. This all makes better sense when you strive for and get back to the early New Testament body life vs denominational man made religion. see our posts about that here:

A word of warning here:
The Lords Supper is NOT to be taken lightly and so if you are a person who is in sin or outside of His saving truth, you are NOT to take it at all. This is another issue in the modern religious places as often it is given to all when it is to be a "closed partaking" for ONLY His true people.
Paul warned of this here:
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world..
1 Corinthians 11
While we will not go so far as to say that it is sin to do fast food communion but it is NOT Gods design. We would ask why would you NOT want to model your life and faith after that of Jesus Christ and His Apostles? Why would you choose man made religion that was invented many years after the original Holy model was left for us. Can we really improve on Gods design? Do you want to worship biblically in spirit and truth (John 4:24) or follow unbiblical altered ways that lessen His meanings and steal from the body in so many ways? You must decide for yourself?
Also... most modern pastors have sinfully decided they will control the Lords supper and they alone can control it, hand it out and decide who can have it. This is sinful and lording over of them. Paul says "But let a man examine himself" in 1 Corr 11. It makes NO mention of a pastor or bishop/elder telling you to take or not take it.

If someone is is sin they wont repent of indeed they should not even be in the body at all per Matt 18 but be put out amen? The scriptures also do not say the pastor or elder must hand out or bless the elements. It was simply a full meal with wine and bread there at the table so biblically anyone can do the Lords Supper alone or with other believers as they will. NOTE: They MUST examine themselves and not partake if in willful sin or they will be a reproach on Christ. We encourage that it be done as a body together "if at all possible" as that is the pattern we see in scripture. But it can be done at home or on the road as well. (Jesus is there when 2 or 3 are gathered)
We choose to keep the Lord's Way and we lovingly reach out to those who are unafraid to break from the religion. Repent of mans ways to seek after what God has given His true bride..... the Lord's Supper as a full meal remembering Him and living out the New testament biblical body in a "one anothering style"...till He comes.
