In the denominational religious organizations we see what they call a worship service. Every Sunday professed believers gather at a certain time, led by a bulletin and it lasts a certain amount of time, all run and organized by a man. This is what is referred to as a 'worship service'.
Is this biblical?
Looking in the Old Testament we see the ritual services of sacrifices and how they were to be carried out but what do we see in the New Testament?
The temple of old is now our body:
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19)
The priests of old, who gave their lives by serving sacrifices are now us:
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:5)
And what is it we are to do for our Lord?
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)
And where do we do it?

And where do we do it?
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. (John 4:21)
And how do we offer our worship?
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:8)
What we see for worship today is that believers are no longer to 'go' someplace to worship as they are their own priest, offering up their daily sacrifice/worship directly to God in spirit and truth in the temple of the holy spirit. What are they offering up as a sacrifice? Their obedience to His Word, through their love of Jesus Christ.
If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)
That is not to say that believers are not to gather, of course they are because they love one another:
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. (John 13:34-35)
And we see they gathered often.
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart (Acts 2:46)
They also gathered for the Lord's supper as we see in 1 Corinthians 11.
They sang, but not like we see going on today. Click Here to read an article on biblical music.
They also prayed together but not like we see going on today.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. (Matthew 6:5-7)

One cannot 'go to church' as we are to 'BE' the church. Being the church means we each are accountable for offering ourselves as living sacrifices (daily) and also helping other brothers and sisters along the way. Do you know what the function of the New Testament Church is for?
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Ephesians 4:12)
