We came across a shameful sad thing that a so called church puts on called... and we thought we had seen it all!!!
Jesus Prom.... Mid Missouri.
Ninth Street Christian Church in Eldon Mo is responsible for this event; modern pastor Chris Reynolds.
What they do is put on a prom a event/dance for handicapped people and it includes the worlds music, immodesty and dancing in the name of a Holy God...Jesus Christ. While it is wonderful to help handicapped people; doing it in a worldly way and adding God's name to it is SHAMEFUL! (they could do many things for these people without doing it in this sinful way in Christ's name.
Then they have the nerve to say they are... LOVING THEM LIKE JESUS.
This is a lie as Jesus would have loved them by telling them about eternal life, truth and the Heavenly Father but NEVER would he tease them with the carnal things of the world! God's Word does NOT teach this type of behavior at all. It teaches the opposite.... holiness and avoiding the carnal ways of the world.
Chris Reynolds needs to be ashamed and then go read his bible. If he did he would see Jesus was ALL about eternal things, Holy things, the Fathers truth and the gospel ...not loving the things of the world like a prom. In fact: the Word of God says if you love the things of the world the love of God is not in you. 1 John 2:15
1 Peter 1 :15 commands we be holy in all our ways and Romans 12.2 says DONT conform to this world.
True Christians repent and come our of the world and its ways; they do not join the world in their carnal ways to try and love them!

This is a common and very sad thing we see more and more in man made religion today. They are loving God and people their worldly way NOT the way Jesus told us to in John 14:15 by keeping Gods Word/commands. Having Jesus Prom..... is NOT keeping Gods Word or ways!
