That section of scripture describes for us the fall of mankind into sin and death and it was satan working though a woman that it all come to pass. This is no small matter!
It has been our experience of late (and for quite awhile really) that many woman today are still being deceived by the enemy (even claimed believers) so we decided to write about it as a loving warning.
Having said that about women let us say right up front men too can and are taken in by satan no doubt. But for this article it is the woman we will focus on as a teaching point.
God made it a point to note the woman's sin and marked her in several ways because of it.
*Pain in child birth
*Submission to her husband
(see Genesis 3 )
The Apostle Paul also keeps this fall of Eve in memory when he discusses women NOT teaching in the New Testament body.
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 1 Timothy 2
Eve was NOT discerning and she was swept into sin and what does it say in Genesis 3:17
And unto to Adam He said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of they wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thy, saying, thou shalt not eat of it; cursed is the ground for thy sake .....

We do see men listening to their wives and being drawn into much sin today. Not much has changed over the centuries really has it?
In today's culture we see the following areas where woman are falling into this same deception, sin and lies of the enemy.
These are the main areas we see it happening in:
1) This culture is ripe with demonic work like feminism that has taken women out of the role God gave them into sinful roles. We see this via the work place, homes/divorce, dress, the sexual revolution, entertainment, politics, education, the family/marriages and the media in general.

2) Man made denominational religion is playing its part in feminism as it ordains lady teachers, allows fleshly sin in the body (immodesty and non head covering / carnality) looks past women leading the men around, lifts up lady singers, leaders, authors, woman conferences etc etc

3) Even claimed born again believers who have left the lies of man made denominational religion are also swept up in the sin of the enemy (feminism) with woman leading. Often it is through exposure to the internet/youtube for biblical training, dragging husbands around to various religious systems to sample theology, leading the home and teaching husband's theology.
All of the above are SINFUL before God but......
#3 is most troubling as this is occurring in ladies who claim Christ and His new birth in John 3:3. We know this well as over the years when we minister to people and are contacted by people who claim Christ; we often see these VERY troubling signs and trends.

*Mostly we see ladies reaching out instead of the men who are to lead
*Ladies contacting us about bible truth "without" their believing husbands involved.
*Ladies looking for fellowship but rejecting biblical truth for their lives ( like dress, head covering, their submissive role at home etc)
*Ladies clinging to cultural feminism vs rejecting it and seeking their true biblical role at home under their husband's authority
*Ladies involved in woman to woman books, gatherings, studies and conferences that feed the Eve syndrome ( no discernment, with deception leading to much sin )
*Ladies who are on the internet (not discerning or guided by a husband/ godly men ) and seeking God's truth there but they have no biblical discernment or lack the desire for all truth regarding womans roles.
These are the troubling issues we see that remind us of Eve falling into sin and it is still happening today. In fact; we just experienced a claimed woman believer who we were close to who went out on the internet to seek truth ( taking her husband with her ) and she was swept away into a false gospel and apostate system of Pauline dispensationial faith. This would NOT have happened if she would have shared with/stayed close to her biblical body and allowed her husband and they men lead her. It sadly reminds us of 2 Timothy 3:6
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
This lady indeed had the Eve issue and it was very obvious for sometime. In love we had warned her many times about it but she liked to lead the home and her husband and in the end she continued that right into sin that shipwrecked her biblical faith and put her home in major sin.
If ladies will be biblical and obey Gods design for their lives this would not be happening, so we must speak out. (Yes it is also true that men MUST step up and be leaders that God requires them to be as well / Ephesians 5 / Titus 1 / 1 Corinthians 11)
Now that we know what is unbiblical for ladies what is the biblical model you may ask? We have covered much of that in the articles for ladies posted above so please study them in God's Word. What we would counsel all ladies to do also based on what we have seen of late is the following:
*Repent of all feminist ways and seek the godly keeper at home, helper role found in scripture. Titus 2 and Genesis 2
*If your heart has been made new then obey and change your ways and outsides to meet the holiness God's requires per the bible. Hebrews 5:9 ...obey Christ
*Stop getting your theology off the internet ( get a lexicon and study, study, study the Word ) James 1 ... ask God for wisdom.
*If you have a believing husband, you MUST involve him in ALL your spiritual life and learning. 1 Corinthians 11 ... man is head of woman. (Don't lead him either...leave that to God and His spirit)
If these steps would be followed, much of the "Eve issues" we see today ( ladies leading into sin ) would not be happening at all. All of this is a product of the lost/godless culture and man made denominational religion that is compromised (sinful) at its core and it refuses to stand up against feminist ways as it fears the ladies will leave the pews and take families and donations $$$ with them. Today's religious places are more about MONEY than about truth as you know well if you read our dontperish.com website.
Are you a true godly lady or are you a Eve type, being influenced by satan, the culture and man's false religious ways? There is ONLY one way to know your proper role and the truth: that is to cling to God's Word alone.
