While at an onsite carve there were city wide rummage sales going on, bringing a lot of people by to see what we were doing. One lady came by with her kids and I saw she was a Mennonite so I went to talk to her and share our Anabaptist Tract with her. I was able to speak with her for a while about the deception of man made religion etc. She told us what body of believers she belongs to and you can read about it here:

When we were done we packed up and moved on to the next carve.....
As Jim was carving I took a minute to walk across the street to talk to an elderly lady who was set up selling her wares in the park. I chatted with her for a while and left her with a gospel tract. I informed her that she needs to seek truth in God's Word not man made religion which is deceiving people. I hope she reads it and obeys.
We left there and headed back 3 hrs to go do a carve north of Seward, NE and when we got there I ran into Walmart to get some produce. While in there I ran into a young man about the age of our sons. He asked if I wanted to see a trick and then proceeded to empty the box of goods, placing them on the shelf. He must have been bored. I then asked him if he wanted to see a trick and handed him one of our business cards and said 'if you go to that website you will see my husband turn a piece of wood into a carving.' He thought that was funny. Then I told him to flip the card over and go to the website listed on the back www.dontperish.com and he can learn how Jesus can turn a sinner into a saint and then I proceeded to share the gospel. He listened and asked a few questions. I told him that we would be happy to help him. We hope to hear from him.
As we travel the Lord continues to bring people into our path that we are blessed to be able to share the gospel with. Carving is our business but it's only a means to support us to share the life giving truth.
We look forward to what the Lord wills tomorrow.
