We stopped to get some gas and water in Nebraska and I found myself near a older man getting air for his car. He had a HUGE cross around his neck so I said to him " I see you wear a cross so you may be interested in my website". I gave him a gospel card and told him that " man made religion has perverted the meaning of God's truth and the cross of Christ".
All he said was; yea, thanks?
He took the card and went on his way!
Like so many who claim God today; he seemed void of caring about biblical truth or being in the spirit of God at all. Maybe some truth at dontperish.com will wake him up and that so that is why we do what we do?
This does remind me about articles we wrote and posted on our teaching blog about the cross. Today it has been so warped and twisted often used as a adornment without even knowing its truth.
