I was doing some research online for a article and saw a news blurb about prayer, the national Anthem and football. I took a quick look to test it and it confirmed my fears. It was a college football game that mixes the good with the bad. Man always has a way of mixing sin with good and this case is NO different.
Football (NFL or college) is a worldly carnal violent immodest pride fest and patriotism in the USA is most often a idol placed between people and the truth/worship of God. Man has found a way to mix the two and toss a Holy God into the mix and it is shameful.
At this event they have the gall to mix vile football, idol patriotism and a Holy God into one event! See the pic above where a claimed man of God stands up and asks God to bless their pagan violent game and the idolatry of nation loving.
This is blasphemous!!!!
Apostle Paul said this:
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Cor 6:14
It is the sinful unbiblical fruit of this spiritual blind flesh craved culture we live in. Also most often we find it is man made religion itself ( worldly modern pastors ) that are mixing the ungodly with a Holy God. They lead the people INTO sin and idolatry vs calling them out of it.

If you truly know Christ and obey God's Full Word as fruit, you indeed know better. Sadly that number of people is quite small just as Christ warned about in Matt 7. It is why we speak out so those who will hear, can hear truth while there is yet time.
