The Spirit and Magic of Christmas Is NOT of God

It is the world's day called Christ-mas and as I write this it has been impressed upon me this year more then before the deceptive spirit that occurs at this time of the year. It is no secret we at dontperish.com stand against this holiday as we left it years ago. We choose to obey God and NOT follow others into false ways. (See link at the end of this article with biblical proof.)


 I started to ponder the spirit and magic that many claim surround this holiday and it is true. There is something that changes people and causes them to act different in December then the rest of the year. But is it of God, human emotions or the enemy satan as a deception? We say it is surely NOT of God and here is why:

 * God never ordained this holiday to worship Him
* It has total man made pagan ( occult ) ungodly roots
* It is celebrated right with the pagan Roman catholic church that created this false holiday
* It is embraced by the fallen world so it cannot be of God 
* You cannot ADD your "own way" to serve/worship God and please Him ( it is His way that rules )

 Jesus said in John 4:24 you must worship in spirit and truth
but this holiday is full of lies?

 If you celebrate Christ-mas it is all for you and about you as God NEVER called us to do so. In fact, He called us to avoid false ways if your His. ( see biblical articles below )
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
2 Corinthians 6

 So why do I say there is a spirit and magic at Christmas time? It is easy to see if you test and 
examine it. Normally worldly people will act different this time of year, they are more kind, loving, more open to good all the while being obsessed with material things lights and glitter all filled with emotions that leave after the holiday is over. This is NOT of God. It is a false spirit that takes over people and God's true saints are able to see it and reject it for His glory.  

 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.


 2 Corinthians 11:14

Perhaps one of the greatest evidences is this:

We get MANY MANY people saying to us Merry Christ-mas that have NO intentions of ever speaking about Jesus Christ, His truth or following Him into obedience. By their fruit they are not of God yet they have some sort of spirit? It is a saying that they adopt for a season then they leave it till next year. More proof it is NOT of God. It is a false seductive spirit that gets people to feel good, they think it is pleasing to God as they retain their worldly carnal lives lived for themselves, but in the end leading them to hell. The enemy is a seductive deceiver is he not? We want better for others.

 Jesus said the holy spirit will lead you into all truth in John 16
However when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak from Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak; and He will show you things to come. 

 Are you being led by the spirit of God into ALL truth or by this false spirit at pagan Christ-mas time leading you into sin?
