Do you have to endure or persevere in your job? How about in your marriage? Of course you do or you will be a failure and faith in God is not any different at all.
One of the key components in the gospel to eternal life (faith) is that we must persevere or endure in a saving faith until the end. The hope of eternal life is not unconditional nor is it a guaranteed event, contrary to the unbiblical calvinist gospel.
The biblical gospel to eternal life is these 5 key factors:

Many today are caught up in teaching the lie of once saved always saved ( no need to endure/persevere ) but this is a heretical way and part of man made calvinism and it must be rejected. Followers of Christ are warned in the scriptures many times that they will endure many trials and temptations in this world but there is a blessed hope. If we endure and persevere in faith, walking obediently in the Word; knowing that our reward awaits us in eternal life because of what Christ has done. Praise Him!!!
The way to endure in the faith is to keep your eyes on Christ, clean your life of all worldly distractions, only fellowship with true godly holy saints not unbiblical false converts, read study and obey/apply God's Word daily and strive to live according to all of its ways. Make sure your faith is built on the soild foundation of truth and the bible; not mans ways. By keeping your eyes on Christ and His Word not men, you will be able to endure till the end.
