Here is a handy little add on tool to have in van dwelling life.


It is a PA speaker that plugs into your CB radio ( if it has a PA feature ) and I mounted mine on the roof of the van. About $12 and these can be great for various reasons as I will list below:

1) I use it to preach the gospel as we drive through towns

2) you can use them in emergency situations like accidents or to warn a criminal to flee at night. 

3) sister debbie can use it to call me if I am far from the van in a parking lot or on the homestead

Note: make sure you get a water proof one!

It is a cheap investment and if you used it once, it pays for itself I feel. The install is easy as it plugs right in the back of the CB then you just mount the speaker under your hood or on your van. Then you run the wire and zip tie it in place, done! If you are not good with tools / handy on things, maybe have a pro do it for you.
