Free Water on the Road

 Free Water 

As we travel preaching Christ; we are always on the hunt for free places to fill up our water jugs. It is quite a challenge indeed especially if you don't just buy all your water needs. We usually buy our drinking water in gallon jugs that we refill for .39 a gallon. Then we seek out free sources for our wash up and laundry water needs. The following is a list of places to check for free water:

 1) truck stops
2) gas stations
3) city parks
4) Walmart parking lot / garden center areas
5) laundry mat sins or bathrooms
6) bathrooms (fill up small jugs)
Those are just a few places to look. We carry about 30 gallons with us at all times and we keep refilling every time we see free water. 

 No doubt, the BEST place to get FREE water is seek out any lakes, ponds, creeks or rivers in your travel path. Have both small and big jugs then refill there. (get a good funnel & water bucket for carrying too) 

Note: make sure you have a good drinking water filter with you so in a pinch, you can even drink your free lake water.

Not sure it gets any better here on earth. Free water and a awesome place to ponder God's beauty! 

 And by the way it is a huge cost saver too. Do the math; if you need 30 gallons of water that is $30 to fill up if you buy Walmart water. Even if you do the refill there it is still $12
Add to that the free camping we get every night and you are looking at about $45 to $100 a day savings just on water and over night stays. That could be up to $3000 a month or $36,000 a year. 

 Now you see why we do what we do (frugal) as we are called to be good stewards of the Lords money, amen?
