Not all my witnessing is confrontational in fact; many are not!
We just got back from witnessing at a religious body in town when a young drifter just walked up to our picnic table we were sitting at and asked me; what dontperish was all about? Thankfully I got to preach the gospel good news to Him and then he went on His way.
