There is a free grace bible teacher named Andy Woods who made a video called "7 reasons to Trust in the Pre Trib Rapture".

 When studied you will find that a pre trib rapture is an invention of man.  It came along in the 1800's and has grown a lot in recent years. 

 Since we believe God's Word and not these false highly educated men; we decided to test what Woods says to God's Word regarding pre trib. When we did that his idea of 7 reasons to trust in this man made theology go right out the biblical window. Read on as we take each of the 7 reasons and take you through why he is wrong and in great biblical error.

 #1 
Woods makes the claim the tribulation is for Israel and not the church. 
He uses Jeremiah 30:7 as his proof text. 
Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. Jeremiah 30:7

 Indeed, Israel will go through much tribulation in the last days but it is NOT just for them. 

 Fact: No bible verses tell us the tribulation is for Israel only. 

 First we now know there is no Jew or Gentile; we are all one in Christ per Paul. Galatians 3:28 

 Next we can read about what will happen on earth and Jesus says this in Matthew 24:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Jesus says unless those days be shortened NO flesh will remain. Does that sound regional or global tribulation to you?
Lastly, we can look to Revelation for more evidence against Woods idea it is for Israel only. 
Revelation 13:7 says this:
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Again does that sound like a regional tribulation or a global one?
Of course it speaks of a world anti christ leader causing GLOBAL tribulation... so Woods is wrong per God's Word on point #1. 
The tribulation is a global happening not a regional one over just Israel.

#2 
Woods makes the very weak claim there is no word church/ekklesia used after chapter 4 of Revelation so they must be gone. (This is called a word concept fallacy.)
This is a VERY weak claim as if you study the topic you will find MANY books of the New Testament bible that never or rarely mention the word church, but the truth is there for and about His body, amen?  
Example: Paul mentions the word church once in Galatians then not again in 6 chapters. Is Galatians for all of Christ's body? Of course it is.

 Using Woods flawed word concept theology:
These books listed below NEVER mention the word church:
Mark, Luke, John 2, Timothy, Titus 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John and Jude
SO ....they are not for and about the church/ekklesia? That is VERY faulty bible study. 

Interestingly the word church is NOT even in the rapture verses ( 1 Thessalonians 4 and John 14 ) So do we conclude the taking away/rapture is NOT for the church? Again that is very flawed bible study but they must use it to make their man made theology work for a pre trib rapture. 
Lastly, the word saint is used 59 times in the NT word and it always means a member of Christ true body. Pre tribbers try to say the saints mentioned in Revelation are a "different class of saints" and this is a lie. Revelation 13 clearly shows satan persecutes the saints but pre tribbers make up a special class of saints to make their theology work. Again it is a lie!
Saints are present in the tribulation ( see Rev 13 ) and so the church/ekklesia is also in the tribulation. 
Woods is clearly wrong on point #2 per God's Word....

Woods makes the claim the church is exempt from God's wrath so it has to be taken out. 
On the point of the church not taking God's Wrath; we agree. But Woods is wrong as he says the church must be removed in the tribulation to avoid God's wrath. If you study the tribulation period the worst of God's wrath does not come till at the end of the tribulation period and even the church being here; it does not not incur God's wrath. 
Fact: Much of the tribulation is Satan persecuting the saints along with Israel.
Also, if you look at Noah and the Ark, The Jews in Egypt and Lot in Sodom; they were all God's people that were here ( not taken out ) during the wrath that came from God. The Lord protected them. For Woods to say the church MUST be gone to avoid God's wrath in the tribulation is a lie that scripture does not support! God can keep His people through His wrath as He did before in the past.

Andy Woods like many false pre trib teachers has fallen for the "doctrine of imminence" .
This is the man made doctrine that says the Lord can come ANYTIME so the pre trib rapture has to be true! 
He uses the following scriptures to "so called" prove this theology:
Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:8
So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Cor 1:7
 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 3:20
Do you read anywhere in these verses a "doctrine of imminence" / the Lords return NOW or do they just state the Lord is going to return? There is no evidence of an immediate return. The pre tribbers must make this up to help their ill theology work.
Apostle Paul tells us when the taking up/rapture will be and it is very clear!
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Corinthians 15
It is at the LAST trump; at the end of the tribulation not at the beginning of it. 
So again Andy Woods is also WRONG on the doctrine of imminence! 

 Also .... I have a question for Andy:

 If Christ could have returned at ANY time ( per Andy Woods and pre tribbers ) could Christ have returned BEFORE the book of Revelation was even penned in 95 AD, BEFORE the prophecy of Peters execution by Christ and BEFORE Paul preached in Rome also predicted by Jesus?

 If not, when did your ill doctrine of imminence really start Andy?

 It is a big more recent lie of man!

Woods argues here that we MUST have a pre trib rapture or believers have NO comfort in the future! He says how can you have joy knowing you will go through tribulation? 
This is honestly a silly and quite lame reason to trust in a pre trib rapture for two main reasons. 
First; it it is NOT supported by scripture anywhere. Pre tribbers offer no scripture to support this point.
Second; we as believers have comfort in Christ knowing no matter what we face, He is faithful and able to help us thru it even unto death. 
In fact: Jesus tells us we WILL have much tribulation in John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
So in a way Woods is calling Jesus a liar as Christ says we are to have comfort even through tribulation but Andy Woods says: how can we have comfort in tribulation! 
If we are set on Christ we are over comers, so clearly men like Woods are NOT looking at the biblical Christ but a "get out of tribulation for free coupon" via their man made doctrine. 
Woods is very wrong here as well...even contradicting Christ Himself.

On this point Woods says the restrainer mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:6 is taken away so that means the church is gone also during tribulation. He makes the case the restrainer is the holy spirit. Note: This is NOT proven with scripture but only speculation to make their pre trib theory work. If this is true and the Holy Spirit is now gone off the earth then what/who is the comforter for those saints that are in the tribulation time and those who come to know Christ during the time of tribulation? Will they be void of a Holy Spirit? How are they convicted of their sin and shown truth without the Holy Spirit? This makes no sense at all. 
Woods goes so far to say this unbiblical statement:
"the presense of the Christians is holding back satan on earth"
Not one place in scripture teaches this folks, and it is MORE man made up dribble to make their ill way work. 
Note: we do not know who the restrainer is for sure but; we do know this: God was able to restrain the devil against Job, then He then allowed satan to torment Job (via His Word/Will) so clearly God can restrain satan as He pleases at His will. Also God created the entire world via His Word.
So why will it be any different in the tribulation time? His Word and His timing will rule!!! 
Woods and pre tribbers are wrong here once again.

#7 Finally Woods uses symbol parallels... another faulty thought process to aid their pre trib cause.

He uses verses on Noah and Lot in Sodom ( 2 Peter 2 and Luke 17 ) to say God took His righteous people out prior to His wrath coming. 
Again, a simple study of these situations shows God removed them from the area and effects of His wrath. (Lots wife in fact suffered God's wrath didn't she?)  He did NOT take them out of the world at all. Again Woods ideas/theology go directly against Jesus Christ own prayer. 
Jesus Christ prayed this:
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
John 17:15

In closing....
If we look back at the 7 reasons you should trust in a pre trib rapture per Andy Woods, you will see they are VERY weak at best and NOT rooted in Holy scripture. The truth is much twisting has to happen to get to their theology. 

Remember we showed you Paul saying the rapture is at the final trump in 1 Corinthians 15? This alone destroys the pre trib ideas. 

We leave you with this also:

Jesus Christ gave the signs of His return in Matthew 24 and He said this:
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
 ( Christ comes for the elect AFTER the tribulation )
 Do NOT be deceived by the pre trib rapture lie that is made of man.
We believe the pre trib theology is a plot to deceive and make people unprepared to go through tribulation for the Lord. (Satan is a angel of light and very wise!)

God's Word is true and He is able to deliver His people from and through the great tribulation to come. 

 Remember; Jesus also said in Matt 24; those who endure to the end will be saved.

The Doctrine of Imminence Exposed

There is a man made theology called the "doctrine of imminence" (DOI) that has made its way into mainstream evangelical world. It is often used to try and support the pre trib rapture theory; another man made false teaching. This DOI teaching says that Christ could have and still can return for His body of believers in a rapture event at ANY time. I would like to look at this DOI teaching and see if it is true per God's Word or just more lies?

 Lets look at the word they like imminent; what does it mean?
about to happen.
"they were in imminent danger of being swept away"
synonyms:impending, close (at hand),near, (fast) approaching, ,coming forth coming on the way, in the offing, in the pipeline, on the horizon, in the air, just around the corner, coming down the pike, expected, anticipated, brewing, looming, 

 Remember:
It can mean soon or just expected. But by merely using the word ( not found in holy scripture ) it does not make it so does it?


 Moving on....

 A good place to start is a section of a article we already did on refuting a article by bible teacher Andy Woods called 7 reasons for the pre trib rapture. Here is the section on the DOI:

Moving on ...

 I have a question for Andy and any pre tribber:

If Christ could have returned at ANY time back then ( per Andy Woods and pre tribbers ) could Christ have returned BEFORE the book of Revelation was even penned in roughly 95 AD or BEFORE the prophecy of Peters execution by Christ / John 21 or BEFORE Paul even preached in Rome also predicted by Jesus / Acts ?

If not, then when did your ill doctrine of imminence time line go into affect Andy and pre tribbers?

The truth is this just another man made doctrine was started not all the long ago ( Darby and dispensationalism in the 1800's )  and it has gained speed in the last 50 years in error filled evangelicalism.

It is another big lie of man that makes Christ look like a liar as well! Why? If you just read Matthew 24 and we are told by Jesus when He will return and get His body:

Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Christ will return to gather His elect at the END. It matches perfectly with what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15 ..... at the last trumpet.

It also matches with the Prophet Daniel (chapter 12) that Christ references:
and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
When studied closely the DOI is shown to be faulty and just not in the truth. There is no secret rapture and then a return of Christ. It is ONE event as foretold in holy scripture; at the end of the age.

Does a Loving Husband Beat His Bride?

I was out in the world recently doing business and ministry and a man flagged me down after seeing our gospel signs on my truck.

 We talked bible truth and he revealed he is a pre trib rapture guy. 
I told him pre trib rapture is a lie. He then said a very strange and unbiblical thing to try and help his cause but it did not help him. He asked if "I beat my wife after I married her"? 

 His point was why will God beat His bride in the tribulation? 
He is very wrong as the tribulation is about God's wrath being poured out on the WORLD; not on God's people. ( Fact: God did not harm Israel in Egypt but God DID pour out wrath on Egypt still ) The true is the body of Christ will have to endure satans wrath in the tribulation not God's.

Corona Virus, Human Suffering and Pre Tribulation Lies







As the Corona scare goes on with NO end of sight, I wanted to quickly touch on an important future subject. 

 Many evangelical Christians are banking on this topic, but to their great demise. As I see the virus event rising, I realize how fragile mankind really is and the suffering that will come at the hands of pestilences and evil men. We see it in the past and it will be greatly magnified in the future! If the bible is true (and it is indeed!) there is going to be GREAT suffering on earth with most of the earth's population killed off before Jesus returns in the clouds. Not a pretty picture so you need to be ready spiritually to ENDURE in the faith even to death, just as Jesus taught in Matt 10 and Matt 24

 The lie of a PRE - TRIBULATION rapture was conceived several centuries ago by a false man named Darby. He taught that a pre trib rapture was coming to save all the Christians from tribulation / suffering. He promised that God would spare them from suffering in the great tribulation and it is nothing but a LIE! He developed a theology of Jesus coming and "taking up the saints in a secret rapture" and then again Jesus returns at the end of tribulation. Sounds warm and cozy but the problem is, Holy scripture teaches NO such thing. 

 Both Apostle Paul and Jesus tell us when He is coming back and it is at the END of the great tribulation. 1 Cor 15 / Matt 24

Some facts / myths and observations about this pre trib event that has caused all the confusion, mostly via their false theology:

 1) The idea of a pre trib rapture in history about Darby's time in the late 1800's. 

 2) The unbiblical Left Behind book series by heretic Tim LaHaye made it main stream and helped spread the lies all over the globe. 

 3) God always had His true saints go through persecution / trials and tribulation unto death for His glory and display of power! 
Tell the Prophets and Apostles/disciples that God will always rapture out His true saints. They all died and were tortured for the faith. So why do evangelicals think they are special to get out of the earth before it gets really heated and the anti-christ hunting them down?

 4) Saints will NOT suffer God's wrath on earth, no. We will suffer satan's wrath on earth ( he makes war with the saints Rev 13:7 )  then God judges the world then Christ returns. Scripture is clear on that read it for yourself. 

 5) I think pre trib is satan's plan and ploy to have people NOT ready to endure unto death for Christ. Most will fold when they think they missed a secret rapture. How clever of our evil adversary and he knows most are not born of God, so it is a sad situation to come!

 If you study it all out, you will see there is no pre trib rapture coming for you. All born again saints will go through the tribulation with many dying as martyr's for the faith and name of Christ. Many will no doubt turn away and be lost by taking the beasts mark to just survive. see Rev 13 / 14 

** Here is a common death machine we may have to face in the tribulation. Are you ready to lose this life for Christ?

 I think it is fitting and good we suffer and die if need be. See Jesus died for us to secure our eternal home so why can't we suffer and die to go be with Him? As you ponder the corona scare and where the world is going, stop thinking you are getting a free ticket out of tribulation that is coming. That is just feeding your carnal side and self preservation. We cannot stop what is coming, men, nor are we told to fight against it. But we can be ready to face it boldly and be strong in the faith; not be lukewarm Rev 21:8 cowards who will NOT see heaven due to fear!

Repent, be born again by His spirit and be ready for the suffering death and His return to come. The Word of God has warned us for 2000 years so please know, you will have NO excuse to not be ready! God's Word is true and these false pastors and book sellers telling you that you will get a rapture out ahead of time, they are just hirelings and workers of satan!

 See the gospel below and follow Christ in spirit/truth, unto your death! Do not fear a virus, No, fear the One True Holy Living God!!!!

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
