Unconditional Love of God is a Lie!

The Apostle Paul said this in Colossians 2:8

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

At dontperish.com we strive to stay true to God's Word and NOT man made ways. As we preach His truth all over to others we are always put in the position to defend His truth from man made error that deceives and damns people's souls.

The unconditional love of God is one such heretical doctrine we will boldly stand and refute for the love of God and others. It is being taught and proclaimed all over the false unbiblical denominational evangelicalism and it is nothing but a tradition of men! Since we like to keep things simple, it won't take long to dis-spell this man made religious way.

Lets look at God's Word (our ONLY source of truth) to see what it has to say about this doctrine.

As we scan the Holy scriptures we CANNOT find one single verse that clearly teaches this idea that God loves man, without ANY condition.

The God of Creation is indeed a God of law and conditions. He would be lawless ( sinful ) unless He stood on His ways, rules or laws. He is a God of covenants ( an agreement between two with limitations.) Often religious men I witness to will say "oh you're just about rules NOT about God". I lovingly challenge them by saying 'you cannot separate God from His law ( rules ) or He ceases to be a Holy God.'

Example: separate a police officer from his law keeping ways and he ceases to be an officer of the law, amen?

Please, let's be honoring to God shall we? You need only to to open your bible and read to see the foolishness of this false man made doctrine:

*In Genesis we see God placing Adam and Eve in the garden and He gives them a rule/law to obey. They could stay there based on a condition.
See Genesis 1-3

*Then look at marriage that God ordained. It is between and man and a woman's faithfulness to each other and it clearly comes with conditions.
See Genesis 1

*Look at the 10 commands God gave Moses, they are all conditions to OBEY.
See Exodus 20

*Look at God's relationship to Israel (who He loved) and all over the old testament you see MANY rules/ laws God gave them as conditions to OBEY to be blessed by Him. ( 613 rules that is. )

Clearly the God of the Old Testament was a God of law and many conditions.

Moving into the New Testament; do we see His laws or conditions going away compeletly? No, not at all though they do change because of what Christ has done on the cross.

*In John 3:3 Jesus said you must be born again to see God's Kingdom. That's a condition.

*In John 3:16 we see the promise of eternal life through Christ and it also has a condition, that you believe/have a saving faith.

*In Luke 13:3 Christ says repent or perish. That is a condition.

*In Hebrews 5:9 we see that Christ made the way of eternal life; for those who obey. ( another condition )

*In Matthew 6:15 Jesus Himself tells us if we do not forgive, we WONT be forgiven. Another condition.

*In John 14:15 Jesus says if you love me keep my commands. Another condition.

* In 1 Corinthians 6 Paul says none of these types of people will see heaven. More conditions.
 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

*In Hebrews 14:12 we are told without holiness no one will see God. Another condition.

Lastly, in the book of Revelation chapter 22 we see the warning that if you add or change God's Word you will be removed from the book of life (another condition) or you will miss heaven.

Many will say 'but grace has come so now we do not need to worry or strive to be without sin and obey Gods law'. 
Apostle Paul in Romans 6 says this:
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 

We could go on and on with MANY, MANY verses that destroy this heresy of a unconditional love of God. It is a lie!

Those who teach this will try to find verses that they twist to their own gain. One such verse is in Romans 8
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This wonderful scripture only reminds us that we are over comers in Christ and have His promises to rest on but it in NO WAY teaches unconditional love of God. A person who is living in a total disobedient sinful life against God has NOT the fruit of being God's and they will NOT inherit heaven. Paul does NOT teach that error, false ways, disobedience, worldliness/sin "cannot separate us" from God as it clearly does if we live like and love the things of world, including man made religion. (That is all over scripture like 1 John 2:15, Mark 7:6-9 and James 4:4.)

You can scan the scriptures but you will NOT find any solid foundation for this lie of man made religion. A God who has NO law or conditions to gain His Kingdom is NOT Holy but a lawless one. So this false teaching smears God in the worst way!

 After reviewing God's Word on this matter and clearly seeing the truth laid out here, we now need to ask ourselves just where did this ill doctrine come from? You will not find the idea of God's unconditional love in the Apostles or in early or even later history until about 100 years ago or so. Why?

Modern man has recently fallen into the pit of humanistic psychology due to the mind sciences that have flourished since evolution has replaced God's Word in many education circles these days. This modern human is very self centered and desires to relate to things that feed their own flesh and caters to its heartfelt needs, not truth. Man is also claiming he is no longer responsible for his own actions but he plays the victim. We see this all over the culture today and examples are:

*Man sees himself as GOOD at heart not evil of fallen
*You are not practicing sin (like sexual perversion) but you are just born gay
*The eternal law of God has been replaced by what makes me feel good as a person.
*Rather then God being the center of truth, man is now the center unto himself.

Having said that, since man made denominational evangelical religion relies on people in their pews to grow and supply it money; modern pastors ( an unbiblical position today) have adopted these sinful, humanistic based, seeker heart felt ways to the goods news ( gospel ) of God simply to attract people who would normally turn away from God's True Word. It is called seeker senistive ways and see this link on that:

Here is an example of God's truth vs man made false humanistic ways so you can see the difference:

*God's Word says....
God loved man enough to send Christ to the cross, so he must by faith, repent and serve God in holiness and obedience to His law. It demands you deny yourself, kill your flesh and follow God in truth and lose your entire life to God or you will be lost. It calls you to leave ALL lies and false ways as fruit your His.  ( See Revelation 22:14-15)

*Man made perverted way says....
God loves you NO MATTER what ( unconditional ) so you just believe in Jesus, He will give you a great life now and that you can basically live according to mans ways ( false religion ) you go to heaven.

It is just more lies and it is the evidence of God's Word as truth because 2 Timothy 4 speaks of men preaching a itchy ear way to people just like this false doctrine we are exposing here.

One theology lifts up God/Christs' cross by us obeying Him in truth as fruit we are His while the other lifts up man and caters to his sinful flesh and desires promising heaven to disobedient false converts. This would be a type of "false gospel" Paul warned about in Galatians 1 and so it is a accursed gospel that cannot save anyone!

In recent years; so called ministries like Focus on the Family have used this modern mind science to make people feel loved and promise things the bible NEVER promises. They have admitted to bending to men man's fleshly needs vs teaching the full truth of God. Its founder James Dobson believes people need to feel loved for their real self worth so off into this unbiblical gospel they go to millions of peoples demise!!  He is a false teacher and modern pastors of evangelicalism have drank this cool-aide by the gallon for many decades now!!! The fruit of it is the worldly, carnal unbiblical people who attend religious Sunday services all over the nation; but they LACK obeying God's Word in full. 

It is clear that modern pastors are lying to people for their own gain, church growth, ego and pride. It is shameful before a Holy God! But it is more then a just lie and perversion of God's Word to say He loves man unconditionally. It is utter heresy and it smears God's true Holy character and nature. He is bound by His Word/Holiness and that Word is full of CONDITIONS to man if he wants eternal life. Salvation is indeed by God's grace and that grace shows up in His true people when they OBEY Him. 

Amazingly.... as I am writing this article in a restaurant; I got up to get coffee and saw a man reading his bible. We talked and I asked him if God's love is unconditional. He said  "yes". When I said are you sure he thought and said again "yes it is unconditional". 
(He is part of man made religion and they are lying to him.) I then started walking him through the biblical gospel and he quickly admitted that ok yes it is by faith then repentance then being born again then,obedience/ holiness unto endurance that  enter into a salvation hope with God through Christ. So I then asked him again, 'now is God's love unconditional as man made religion is teaching?' 

And he said 'no it has conditions'

More evidence of man made false religion at work.

Look around, our amazing world is full of many CONDITIONS, laws and rules that come right from a Holy Creator God.

Nature itself

All of them declare His laws and conditions that must be upheld in His name or His wrath is promised to come.

To tell someone God loves you unconditionally is to lie and lower His Holy standard. They are intentionally playing on the people in the pews carnal fleshly human needs. 
God's Word warns we CANNOT please Him in the flesh ( Romans 8:8 ) so you and they would be wise to repent of such damnable ways if you fear Him and serve God in spirit and truth. (John 4:24)

God did love mankind and He sent Christ to prove it, no doubt!

But if you want eternal life come to Christ as the narrow gate, repent and serve Him in His Word and truth not; modern man made false ways like humanism via denominational evangelical religion and its MANY lies like:
the unconditional love of God.
