Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: James 1:19

Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools. Ecclesiastees 7:9

And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient 2 Timothy 2:24

He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Proverbs 25:28

The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression. Proverbs 19:11

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Proverbs 16:32

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:45

Righteous anger is toward those who profess to be a follower of Christ but are profaning His Word.

Let all bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander be removed from you, along with all malice. Ephesians 4:31
