One big issue in Van Dwelling life is staying cool in the summer sun.

I came up with a quick way to block summer sun out of the van as we park and cannot find shade which is often the case. 

I use a large umbrella...

And I fasten it in place with a bungee and some magnets! It works great and keeps our van house very cool.
