Jesus said be wise as serpents so being safe while still trusting in God 
is smart. We at times park in areas that have the homeless, beggars or it may not be the best area of town and crime is higher then usual.


I added some simple door alarms to each door so at night if anyone messes with the door, we get woke up. For like $15 total, I set up our camper van. (Walmart has them usually) Here is a short video on it:


I know men, if it was us alone, who cares about such things right? But I travel with my wife so it is my duty to protect her and I sleep very deep so this is just another tip for van life.
