Unity in the Body Matters





I have to admit it takes much to amaze me these days but this topic has done just that. I see all the time how people/religious groups claim Christ and unity but they are all speaking and teaching many different theologies and doctrines. In this they claim they have biblical unity but; really how can this be I ask you? 

 If you say you are in unity with another group, say a Mennonite to another Kingdom group, but you all teach different doctrines, how can you really claim unity or one mind in the faith per scripture? You cannot claim that at all if; you use scripture as a guide for biblical unity. (I find they are always using false man made unity ideals) Even more appalling is when I raise this topic with leaders; they get offended and say well, you cannot agree on everything now can you! Really? Is that what scripture says and commands to us? That complete unity is hopeless so do not even bother? I take offense to that mindset!
The truth is most religious groups/people do not take unity of doctrine as all that important as it will take effort, hurt their numbers on Sunday and their offering taking/money. I fear that is a sad condemnation on their own spiritual state. If you are born of Gods spirit, you strive for ALL truth as par of your worship! John 4:24     

 Unity is very important and below are over 10 verses that speak on one mind and unity in the NT body. 
Note: the Lord's supper has only two areas in scripture it is spoken of and head covering has only one NT area it is spoken of in comparison.  So why is biblical unity NOT held up high with many scriptural references? Lets take a look at these verses in God's Word that promote unity so we can see just what biblical unity looks like, per holy scripture: 
John 17:11-23 - And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are]. 

  - Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
 - Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.

1 cor 12:25
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

 Note: schism means divisions.... Paul says have NONE!

 Eph 4:11-15
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

 - 
That ye may with one mind [and] one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  - 
[Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

 Acts 15:22
Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner;

 Note; The entire body in Jerusalem agreed on the doctrines handed down! 

1 Peter 3:8
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

 I saved the best unity verse for last:
1 Cor 1.10 

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.


Paul beseeches us.... that is a strong word and not a suggestion! He knows the importance of unity in doctrines as that is what makes the body of Christ stand in truth. Without it, it will fall into heresy and be displeasing to God. 

Admit it; this is hardly the example we see in bodies gathering today. It is tragic that agreeing to all sound doctrine has been tossed as side for compromise and ecumenical so called progress. By those verses it is easy to see that God wants total unity/one mind in doctrine within His true body. He is commanding it that means; WE CAN DO IT! 
If you settle for less then total one mindedness in doctrine, you are not the body of Christ by His spirit but; a man made fake and replacement. It is a real issue and we see that in buildings/house bodies all over America today and I am grieved by it. 

Is perfect unity possible today? Indeed it is as we have One God, One Lord, One Spirit, One Body and One Word; why cant we have One Mind I ask? Is it easy or common, not at all; it is in fact very rare. I find it a key for God's truth/glory that His people be united in a doctrines vs waiver all over and just saying it doesn't matter. If doctrine does not matter, why does Jesus and Paul speak about doctrine 49 times in the NT Word?   

If you cannot find one mindedness (unless you compromise for favor or numbers which most do) you cannot be united to a person or group at all. Romans 16:17 is clear on this:

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Avoid them! 

That means do not gather with them, do not pray with them, do not unite to them and do not do conferences with them. Avoid them....

That is easy to understand amen? So the opposite of unity is separation and God's Word has much to say about that as well. See an article on that here:

Please consider this topic in depth as it is very important. 

 Are the people you are gathering with in FULL unity with you on all doctrine? Do you have one mind and are you all speaking the same things to glorify Christ? If not and you are not striving for perfect unity there; you are not in a body of Christ but in a compromised false body. In love, it is headed for God's wrath over sin and false ways so unless unity in truth is found, you must leave them or be guilty of sin with them. 

Jesus did say FEW would find the narrow path. Matt 7 / Not sure why we always think it will be many?

Unity vs Biblical Unity





Over the years as my wife & I have walked, striving to follow Christ; we have had MANY occasions to unite up with people who say they love God but they were lacking in many doctrinal areas or they kept certain sins. We chose to NOT unite to them ( we called them out of such things in love ) and the fruit has been us growing in God's truth and not being infected by ill doctrine and sin. If we would have gone that route, just to have fellowship with more people, I believe we would have shipwrecked our biblical faith and our walk in Christ. I praise God we did not do that as we wanted to be pure and keep out all sin!

 Galatians 5:9
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

 This article is really needed as there is a real void of truth regarding unity in the true body of Christ. Many so called saints today say "believers must unite up" with other denominations and various religious groups even though we have different doctrines; just for the sake of unity.  

 Is that true? 

 Let me search the holy word and find ALL the bible verses that tell us to unite up and forsake truth to do so:

 * After searching the scriptures, I can say there are no verses that even hint of that false unbiblical mindset...not one!!!

 But the fact is there are MANY verses that instruct true saints to stay pure, be holy, avoid sin, call out sin, avoid all bad doctrine, lies and disassociate from saints who sin or keep any false doctrines. 

 Jesus said this in John 17:21
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

A quick context study shows us this unity He spoke of was with His biblical set apart disciples not with Roman Catholics, evangelicals and many other false groups. Biblical unity can ONLY be had with biblical other saints in all truth.

1 Corinthians 15:33
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

So many false people tell me to ease up Jim, compromise on truth, its ok man!  They say "you can't agree with other saints in all things" so you have to just unite up anyway. It feels good to the flesh but I reject that completely. As proof;\ I want to show you what Apostle Paul said should be our goal in the NT body:

 1 Corinthians 1;10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

 It has been hard and not very common to find others but we do have that unity with some saints and it is worth striving for indeed. God commands we do it so how can we do otherwise lest we be man pleasers!

 After seeking scripture is easy to see the goal of the Lord for His Holy body is truth and unity in all the doctrines and teachings of God and to NEVER compromise on truth for unity sake. 

 Ephesians 5:9
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth

 As I said, this is hard to find today and it means there will be FEW for you to truly unite to. But is that not exactly who Jesus said will be on the narrow road in Matthew 7....  FEW?

 What we see today all over America is biblical compromise ( it's sin really ) and the over looking of God's Word to keep man made false ways and create a "false unity" among so called followers of Christ. Could this be part of the coming worldwide deception? Jesus warns in Matthew 24 of many false ways/teachers that will come in the last days. I believe it is this false unity with Islam, Roman Catholicism, evangelicalism and many other false groups that will be used to enslave the globe in satans one world order. The only people who will not be enslaved in it will be true biblical saints who hold to all scripture vs this false unity. ( they will of course be persecuted, jailed, tortured and killed over it )

 Please go read Matthew 18, Romans 16, 2 Corinthians 6, 1 Timothy 5 and  2 Thessalonians 3

 In those chapters Jesus and Paul make it clear that God's true saints are to call out and separate from ANYONE who teaches any false way or those who keep ANY sin... no excuses!

 How hard is this to understand and obey ye saints of God? 
Who are you obeying today God or man?

 Acts 5:29
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

 Stop uniting to sin/compromise and seek to be in ALL truth for true biblical unity. 

 James 1:27 says:
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

 This means what?
Keeping yourself unspotted from the world includes false man made religious systems full of sin, worldliness and false traditions of men. How can you be unspotted if you sit and unite with such places I would ask you?

 Have you really pondered unity vs biblical unity? If you do you will be amazed how deceived you have been in it all. 

 This will cost you association to your family & friends but again didn't Jesus promise this of His true people, a dividing out of them from others?  See Matthew 10

To be clear in closing:
unity ....is the uniting up with others, over looking differences to meet mans goals, have fellowship and find common ground/ways. 

biblical unity...is the separating yourself from those who keep false ways / sin to keep God's Word and be holy / set apart for God's use and His glory. It is ONLY uniting to biblical saints walking in all truth.

Scripture Twister Award Finny Kuravilla Exposed


Sadly it is time to hand out another sad scripture twister award. 

This time it goes out to Mr Finny Kuravilla, an anabaptist false teacher with Followers of the Way in Boston/Sattler college. I have exposed this man / his false body and his beloved Sattler College for years now. (See the link at the end of this testing that gives you all the proof you need from their confused gospel, to his $6 billion dollar money fund to approving of roman catholics and even sodomy ways at the college per their website)  


For this award, Finny twists Phil 4:8 so far out of context, it will make your head spin. Here is that verse:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

In this video, Finny claims Paul is saying about Phil 4:8 that if you have a dis agreement with others in the body, think on these things about them to have unity still. Here him say it in his own words:

This is a total scripture twisting of this verse and Finny/FOTW are very much lacking biblical unity in doctrine as they allow all kinds of mixed ideas and theology there to grow. The fact is clear that Paul would NEVER instruct we disagree on doctrine and still have any unity. How can I know this? Lets have Paul speak for himself.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Romans 16:17

 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Cor 1;10

Why would Apostle Paul ever tell us to all speak the same things, have the same judgments, then to mark and avoid those who cause heresy and division, if all we have to do is think of something GOOD about them and go on? That is foolishness and it contradicts Holy scripture. 

Even in Philippians 3, Paul speaks of this perfect unity:

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.   

The sad truth is that Finny needs this "warped and "perverted unity" as it is the only way he can have his house bodies and college grow in numbers to build his heretic brand of anabaptism. (he unites to evangelicals, roman catholics and mennonites in great sin!) To strive for the biblical unity that Paul commands we have, it would leave Finny/Sattler far outside of his inclusive model that he adores. He is thus a compromised and false / unbiblical teacher on so many levels ... please beware!

Apostle Paul is clearly ending his letter saying what we as believers should "focus on" in this life to follow Christ and that is the context of Phil 4:8 (we are NOT to just look at the good in others as we allow disagreement and anything less then; perfect one mind in the body)

One last thing to note. They are such hypocrites as they do not ever practice what they falsely teach here. His brother Matthew Milioni and I have gone back and forth via email as we disagree on the gospel and pre conversion divorce theology. Matthew has been mean spirited, lied, gossiped, called me names, his son Elijah has lied/mocked me, Charlton was also hiding their sins/lacking any desire to unite to me and see any good in me. They all have been far from this idea of just "thinking good about others" to gain unity as Finny teaches here. Scripture is clear and His true body can have perfect unity not the compromised twisted ways of FOTW/Sattler college. I have documented/heard Milioni and Dean Taylor say unity in doctrine is not important and Finny seems to agree here with his twisting of Holy scripture.

Division From Family and Sinful Believers






About that time of the year as the world celebrates the "holiday season" it seems most people are focused on togetherness and unity with family or friends. There is a strange almost mystical emotion at this time of the year ( Nov/Dec) where the world seems to be driven by "a spirit" but is it a God honoring spirit? If you go read our articles on Christ-mass you will see that this spirit is a FALSE one that is not ordained of God but is of pagan origins and quite suspect for many reasons. We have seen it so many times where people's important differences, ideals, morals and even solid Christian teachings are all set aside for the option of unity. In our own lives we have seen MUCH division between both family and those who call themselves believers. We will admit if we allowed our flesh to get in the way it can be sad but when that happens, we just go to God's Word and He gives us the peace and truth we must base our lives upon for lasting eternal truth. We are to be Christ centered and NOT human centered in our ways and thinking per God's Word.

 We often hear denominational and evangelical people say that God is love and He just wants us all to be close, share memories and love. Is that really true? Did Jesus come to only bring peace? We have also heard people say; "can't we just all get along"? In both man made religious denominational circles and people's own theology; most all people opt for compromise and togetherness over the other route which is simply standing firm on biblical concepts that honor God's Word in all things. Many people are wrongly clinging to family relations and those in their religious body when these people are "most often" rebellious to God's ways. What does God's Holy word teach us about WHO is really our family if we are striving for Christ? While the concept of unity is not bad in itself; we must ask ourselves two important questions if we are  striving to be obedient, godly and biblical for God's glory.

 1) Did Jesus teach unity at all costs?

 2) Are you today (if you claim Him) being obedient to what He taught about division?

 Let us be clear by saying we agree that God wants His "true people" to be united indeed. The catch words are His true people. 

The Apostles Paul said this is 1 Corinthians 1;10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  
 
This is very good indeed; unity and to be of one mind. The ONLY way this can happen and be God honoring is if it is among those who are born in Christ and are FULLY committed to living out and keeping His Word. You cannot have unity with those who have a mind to bend, cheat, twist or compromise on what God has said. 

 Separation from sinful believers is all over God's Word and as a example; the Apostle Paul also said this in Romans 16:17
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Paul is clear via God's Holy Spirit. If people leave God's ways / doctrines ( like evangelical/roman catholic) you are to avoid them NOT ...unite with them.

 Having laid the foundation for what honors God (truth even with division) lets now answer the 2 questions we posed here.

 1) Did Jesus teach unity at all costs?

 I will just list some verses from Jesus in the book of Matthew and you can read them for yourself. They are clear and need no long explanation from the likes of us:

 Matt 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

 (Here Christ Himself tosses people aside who "so called claim Him" into hell for their lawless (sinful) ways)

Matthew 10-34-39
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

 Yes even families will be separated in the biblical situation of sin and false ways. Jesus came to bring a sword not peace as so many claim! And it should be noted that Hebrews 4:12 teaches the Word is a sword that cuts and divides.)

Matthew 12:48-50
While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Jesus thought his true family were those fully faithful to the Father so your true eternal family are those doing the Fathers will NOT those living in lukewarm sin.

Matthew 18:15-17
Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Jesus taught to go to those believers in sin and if they won't repent; in the end treat them as a publican. How much stronger can you get than that and honestly, it does not mean you have a turkey dinner with them either for peace sake.

Matthew 19:29
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Here we even see a reward if family division has been your path for God's glory. While this is hard it is required to serve God in spirit and truth John 4:24 

Matthew 24:9-13
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved

Jesus teaches us that his people will be hated and love will grow cold in the last days via  false ways even among those who claim faith in Him. But if we endure; we will be saved.  

I could go on listing other verses but it is clear by His own Words that Christ brought division, wanted division and taught division for the Fathers glory. Just as He divided out Israel from those pagans around them; He divides His true people out from those who are false converts and rebellious to His Word in their ways. 
(it matters not if it is family or friends)

So the answer is indeed NO........ Jesus did not teach unity over truth and obedience at all!

 *We love God first via obedience then we love others. See Matt 22

2) Are you today (if you claim Him) being obedient to what He taught about division?

Just as we had to test ourselves and those who were in our lives as we marched on for Christ; you too MUST examine your faith 
(2 Corinthians 13:5) to see where you stand. We had to leave behind or watch many people willingly walk away from us over the years due to doctrine an faith issues. The reason this happened was not that we do not want unity, no not at all. It was because they desired error and compromise over obedience to God's Holy Word and we had to reject that mindset. It was both God honoring and good for our spiritual lives to let them go as they choose NOT to serve God fully. If and when they repent and desire His fullness; they know we are there for them indeed! 
Here are some questions only you can answer on biblical division in your own life:

 *Is it your desire to fully honor God (not men and even lose relationships) for His glory? 
*Do you walk in all of His ways today or have you compromised those ways to make it easier to have people in your life (family or religious others) for unity sake?  (that is sinful folks!)
*Who is your real family that Jesus taught us about and are you focused on them or others? 
*Have you allowed sons, daughters and denominational people/vain traditions (who are in fact disobedient to God in so many ways) as the true godly people are left outside your life? 
*Are you biblically focused on and loving those who are striving for the will of the Father in ALL things making them your true godly family from above?
*Will the people you have compromised/surrounded yourself with hold you to a higher godly standard or just drag you deeper into spiritual lies and error that defames God's Word and Jesus blood?
*Have you allowed the world's cry for unity to compromise as a daily practice?
*Are your own ways for the favor and company of family or others being done against the teachings of Jesus Christ who died to redeem and call out His true people?  
*Ask yourself- are you even walking in and fully following His ways yourself? (our website helps you there)
*Are you a lukewarm compromised person only CLAIMING a faith but the fruit of your walk is practicing error, man made lies, unity with sinners/not saints in this false spirit of the season?

We have heard all the silly and sad human excuses as we used to use them ourselves in the past. 
Things like: 
*"If we leave people how can we affect their lives?"
* "We just want to get to know them better" 
or 
*"if we can just be friends with them over time we can give them seeds of truth". 

In love we will tell you this... God told Noah to build an ark of Gopher wood.  It is counted to Noah for being faithful and so he did not use pine or basswood did he? He used gopher wood! God tells you to separate from those who are in sin or who are rebellious and reject His ways fully. You have NO biblical standing to adopt your own human ways over the God of the Universe Ways do you?

God's true HOLY (set apart) people come out of error and darkness they do not stay in it even for unity sake. (See 2 Corinthains 6) It is a powerful thing when people see you willing to separate over what God's Word says vs sitting next to them as you sin and compromise the Lords truth.

The Apostle Paul told us about the last days of man in 2 Timothy 3:1-7
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 

 (turning away does not mean hanging out with them) 

 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 

In love; we must tell you that these are the kinds of people you will be uniting with if you choose to compromise on biblical division for your life. Paul also warned us about the persecution that will come when you step out in a bible life and practice God's Word fully:
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them . 2 Timothy 3:13-14

We can tell you that in all the years we lived in unregenerated/false religion with unity and compromise as our main marching orders; we were NEVER persecuted for Christs sake. We were NOT living godly or born again. But the instant we did act out faithful to His Word we saw the fruit of those who we once claimed as our own. Their fruit was ungodly and sinful in the end as they persecuted us (mocked God's truth) for our standing on His Word. Of course separation was the next step unless they repented.

 As they say birds of a feather flock together.
Where are you standing today and with whom do you flock or stand?
If you do not practice biblical division then you are allowing much sin into your life (Galatians 5:9) when God has commanded otherwise for His true holy people.

 We will gladly stand totally alone with God than to have hundreds around us in sin, compromise and great spiritual error.  

Jesus said if you love Him keep His commands (John 14:15)
(Keeping all of God's Word is His people's command amen?)
