The following info is based on facts as we compare them to God's Word through our own study and research as well as personal experiences, and observations. It is done in truth and in Christian love as a Proverbs 9:8 rebuke, teaching and learning moment for us all. Only those who would foolishly dislike a biblical rebuke will be offended by it. Gospel for Asia, founded by KP Yohannan, has a large network in Asia that helps millions of people who are in physical need. (Health care, education, food etc.) They also reach them with a gospel but the gospel they preach is not always one of repentance. Jesus said REPENT OR PERISH in Luke 13:3. Gospel for Asia claims repentance on some of their writings and on others to just believe, but James 2 tells us even demons believe and we know they will not inherit eternal life.

It is clear their fruit they are not following the truth of God's Word because their church does not follow scripture.
* They state they are ecumenical and believe that the only command Jesus gave them is to obey and the evidence that they belong to Christ is: love. John 14:15 says if we love Him we will keep His commandments. Plural.
*They follow the charismatic movement believing the gifts of healing, tongues etc are for today.
*Say they are Spirit led but yet claim they need a systematic order of worship (per their government) which they say is the reason why they became liturgical.
*The have united with the government by following the Constitution of India and the requirements that are set upon religious organizations in what they are supposed to do in their services. That means they follow what the government says instead of what God's Word says. Acts 5:9 comes to mind.
* They compromise (sin) by uniting with the government in order to not disturb the peace and unity of India (this goes against Matthew 10) and in doing so, they sin against God's Holy Word.
*They believe in constitutional episcopacy for governance which means that the bishops have unbroken apostolic succession from the 12 apostles. This is unbiblical.
* They profess the Nicene creed, which is an ecumenical creed used to unite all denominations who profess it.
* They have many similarities to the pagan Roman catholic faith such as:
** Their leaders have many titles including bishop, priest, father etc. They twist scripture to incorporate father by using
1 Thessalonians 2:11. KP Yohannan promotes his hierarchy by having people do intercessory prayers naming him their 'spiritual father', 'honoroable' or 'his eminence' to name few.
**People bow to the leaders (Mark 10:45, Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve.)
**The leaders wear cassocks for services and some wear them all the time to gain power when dealing with the government. (A long robe is a good covering for for a naked body but to use them specifically to dress up for spiritual services or to only portray spirituality is unbiblical.)

** Wearing a cross on a necklace that resembles the rosary or Anglican prayer beads. Click HERE to read an article 'The Cross, Your Adornment Or Atonement.)
** They call the Holy Spirit to change the bread and wine into the body and blood. This is transubstantiation....or in other words mysticism.
** They ordain their priests just like the roman Catholics complete with many of the same words of submission to the leader as well as ring kissing.
