As we set up our camp where we will be carving at in Wyomingwe met a neighbor man from Tenneessee. We had a great talk about the truth of God's Word vs man made religion that we see all over the USA. It turns out he is a Church of Christ attender and we covered many areas about them that make them unbiblical/sinful.
They teach wrongly ( among other things ) that you must be baptized to gain eternal life and that is a heretical man made doctrine indeed.
( similar to the famous but sinful Duck Dynasty folks on television / we discussed that too.)

We lovingly shared the truth and he listened to what I had to say per God's Word.
I asked him if a man in a desert could come to faith in Christ and then die without being able to be baptized; would he go to hell? He would not answer but his theology says yes that man went to hell.
( they teach a church of Christ elder must baptize you or you go to hell )
At another point we discussed no adorning ourselves and he looked at my wife head covered, plain/ biblically dressed and he said... well what about her eye glasses is that adornment?
I asked him if he could really compare done up hair, make up and jewelry to a simple pair of glasses needed to see clearly? He did not answer.
Keep in mind he just got done admitting that he gathers with and does so called worship with 95% of the ladies that he thinks are dressed sinfully and immodest due to adornment yet he pointed out my wife's simple eye glasses.
This is just 2 of the many hypocritical ways the church of Christ people have in their theology.
He said he had topics to look into and that he will have questions to come and I thanked him for that!
We love all people and want them to have truth vs..... man made religion.
Jesus said FEW will find eternal life and he warned MANY religious people will be turned away by Him as they are sinful/law breakers going against His ways to do their own false ways.
