With the world in great chaos today like never before... there is much info/situations one must attempt to discern for real truth and eternal value. What is your worldview and is it one that is biblical? Do you have opinions and beliefs that come from your own self or do you cling to the Word of God in all things? We must remind you that God's Word is Eternal while yours and mine are fading amen?
Many today are deceived by the current world influences that have dominated the globe over the last few centuries. Some of them are the following:
secularism, socialism, communism, post modernism, radicalism, hedonism, occultism, paganism and religious denominationalism.
None of the above are of biblical in nature meaning; they have no root in the eternal Word of God ( the bible ) but in man or satan thus they cannot be trusted for truth or real eternal meaning and value. They are but the invention of fallen mankind or as we said....the enemy of God which is satan.
Jesus told us we are to live by EVERY Word out of the mouth of God. Matt 4:4
The only way you can have a correct worldview and not be deceived is to see Christ as Lord, repent/be born again, get into God's Holy Word and really know it thru the study of it. Then base all that you hear, see, believe, strive and live for on His Eternal Word.... lest you will be fooled and perish. Here is a great bible verse that reminds His people to avoid mans ways and cling to Christ alone!
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.Colossians 2:8
How do we do this exactly?
We set our minds on what is above (Col 3:2 ) we test all things (1 thess 5:21) and we take every thought captive for Christ ( 2 Cor 10:5)
Jesus asked would there be ANY faith left on earth before He returns? ( true biblical faith is very rare today indeed ) The worlds fallen ways and false belief systems are working hard to destroy biblical faith. He also warned about great spiritual deception to come in the last days and we see it today in the media/religious circles with people clinging to mans religious ways/personal opinion and rejecting the Lord's truth established long ago in His Word. see Matt 24
What are you really following today and do you have a true biblical worldview or a man centered worldview that has not the truth and leads to destruction? Examine yourself will you? / see 2 Cor 13:5)
Being good, attending a building for religious services, giving money or just doing what you think is right is NOT how one has a correct worldview. You must be rooted in God's Word alone lest your foundation is built on sand and it will not stand in the time to come! ( see Jesus word's )
The only HOPE this world has is found in Jesus Christ and a obedient biblical faith supported by His Truth. (the Word of God)
