 What if only 1100 American will get into Heaven???????

Note: the following is for illustration/comparison purposes only. I make no claim to know exactly how many will really see heaven out of America, in the end as only God knows this number.

 I recently did a article on how FEW is FEW when Jesus mentioned it in Matt 7? Jesus tells us that FEW people will gain eternal life. Jesus reference would have been the Old Testament word/history no doubt.  This is important to grasp so we can know the seriousness, the rarity and the great value of gaining the gift of eternal life.

Few is Few part 2

 A brother and I were recently discussing this FEW number and it got us to discuss something that in the end; really rocked us to our core. Have you ever read a spiritual truth that almost makes you cry, really take notice or even get ill? The following info could make you "quiver and cringe inside" if you fear God and love His Holy Word, Truth and Salvation that Christ alone offers. 

 To expand on that FEW mindset for this part 2 article;
 if we use the exact numbers we know from the Exodus account out of Egypt event and the ratio / how FEW were allowed into the Holy land by God ( 2 out of 600,000 ) we can get a "possible" example of FEW. This can also be used as a illustration to see how many in America would see eternal just life as a comparison. NO, not a proven number as we cant say exactly as I already disclaimed at the start as only God knows that!

Note: Remember Jesus used the OT examples for the last days ( Noah and Sodom ) so it is valid to use the OT info we have to look ahead and wonder.  

 Here are the hard cold facts and numbers based on the OT example's:

 If only 2 men out of 600,000 stepped into the Promised land, as a example; I preached at a crusade that 10,000 people visited recently and that ratio means not even one of them makes heaven, just saying! ( In fact, I saw no true, holy, biblical, obedient saints their myself that day just worldly evangelicals... ) 

 But back to America;
this 600,000 to 2 ratio means that in America where there are about 311,000,000 million people... using the Egypt numbers:

  roughly only ...."1100"..... people would gain eternal life as a comparison of the FEW in the OT Word who walked into the Promised land. 

 Think about that for a moment! 

 Does this give you a idea of how FEW  it may really be? 

 Now if you say well that is foolish as many more times that will be saved then that OT Egypt ratio..... 

 Ok, lets say it is 10 times that number. 

 10 times would be only 11,000 people in America gain eternal life in total. 

 Oh you say well, it is even higher!

 Lets do 100 times higher, that is still ONLY 110,000 in all of America that gain eternal life!

 You say it will be higher yet!

 Well, 1000 times greater and you still only have 1,1000,000 people gaining eternal life.

 Now you want to get "totally crazy" and say well, what if it is way higher ... like 10,000 times higher then the 2 who stepped into the promised land. 

 Ok......

 10,000 times that ratio out of Egypt only see's about 10,000,000 million Americans seeing heaven. Sound like a lot of people? 

 Not really....

 This means even at your crazy inflated "10,000 times the ratio" number that we saw out of the Egypt example, still....

ONLY 10 in every 311 Americans will see eternal life. 

 Ponder this again... 
only 10 people out of 311 see heaven even at 10,000 times the Egypt ratio! 

 WOW..... is what I thought myself!

 As a word of caution; 

I would ask you what makes you ever think the ratio will be 10,000 times greater anyway? The truth is the bible says a GREAT EVIL DARK FALLING away is coming; NOT a revival? See 2 Tim 3 

FEW IS really FEW ..... does this help you grasp it now?

 If these OT examples hold true, ( I do not know? ) you will have a far better chance of getting hit by lightening ( 1 in 700,000 ) or winning a lotto prize if you gamble ( 1 in 13 million ) then gaining eternal life based on OT examples of FEW. 

 The Lord paints a terrible picture at His return:
Jesus said, will there be.... any.... faith on earth when he returns?
Luke 18:8

And it seems safe to say the so called Christian world is far more ungodly now then it was in Israels days coming out of Egypt. There is far more false teaching, denominational division and fleshy ways today. The truth is you may very well have to face that the few of the OT examples could be the low numbers of FEW for today! 

 *Another thought about America.

It is the richest nation on earth by far! Even our poor live like kings over most of the worlds poor (shelter, food, clothes, medical care etc) and what did Jesus say about the rich entering heaven?

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Matt 19:24

 This is more hard evidence that really does hint FEW will come out of America into eternal life. Run the numbers anyway you want as this is just a illustration but we know; FEW is FEW!  

 Are you going to be one of them? 

 Here are some verses that will help you grasp it all and to encourage you get going if you desire to be one of the FEW.
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:3

 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Phil 2:12

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
1 Peter 4:18

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Luke 13:24

 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Heb 12;14

   The point is FEW really is going to be FEW. Are you on that narrow path or the broad road to destruction?

How Few is Few? Matt 7

 Many people talk about and often wonder about this term... FEW.

 How few is few????

 Today people in man made Sunday churches think most of them are going to heaven, but that is a total lie! Jesus' words of FEW are very telling and His reference would have been the Old Testament history/early NT body so let's look at 5 biblical examples of FEW:

 1 )  In Genesis 7 we see a righteous man in Noah. Scripture tells us him and 7 of his family entered the ark to be saved from God's wrath. So we know that ONLY 8 people were saved out of the entire world and some scholars GUESS that up to a million people could have been alive then. We do not know for sure but even if we say only 100,000 people were alive then, only 8 were saved! Amazing.... that is FEW! 

 2) We see God judging Sodom and it was a major trading area. Out of what "could have been" 10's of thousands of people... ONLY 3 made it out alive. Amazing again.. that is FEW!
See Genesis 19 

 3) When God marched the Israelites out of pagan Egypt there was 600,000 men of war age ( see Exodus 12 ) and due to their sin (God kept them in the wilderness for 40 years,) ONLY 2 men Caleb and Joshua, were allowed to enter the promised land. 

 The Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Sukkoth. There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children.

   * 2 men out of (over) 600,000 now, that is REALLY FEW!!!

 4) In the book of Acts, we have the number of people that Jesus had (the greatest preacher EVER and God in the flesh)  as a result of His 3 years of full time ministry.  How many people were in the upper room? Only 120 men and women...120 total.

 God Himself only had 120 people in His New Testament body out of the thousands that once followed Him. Amazing and FEW again!
12 Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day’s walk from the city. 13 When they arrived, they went upstairs to the room where they were staying. Those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. 14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
15 In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty) 16 and said, “Brothers and sisters,the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus. 17 He was one of our number and shared in our ministry.
Acts 1 

5) I have read some claimed facts by scholars/historians that the body in Rome or at Corinth, that Paul labored for a long time over, were numbered around 50-100 people each perhaps. While I can't prove that number, we know all the first century NT bodies met in only HOMES so we know they too were...... FEW! 

These 5 biblical examples of few, show us that today ( in the great falling away time ) we should NOT expect to see MANY true believers at all. Few really means FEW!

 Jesus even said this:
I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
Luke 18:8

If you are following Christ alone/by yourself and have left man made religion/the fallen world, rejoice as you may be one of the FEW! Do not expect many, just strive on and be a Noah in your time. Please know others are out there so you are not alone! I hope this article on FEW helps you to see how FEW it will really be and encourages you to hold fast. Christ is on the way!
