Mennonites, Are They Biblical?


If you read just a short way into our main blog page you will see that we do not cling to any man made group and the Mennonites are indeed, made of man's ways. While they do have some correct according to God's Word and we applaud them for that; they also have strayed and fallen into various unbiblical errors. There are many different Mennonite groups so this is a general statement about the conservative denomination and their ways and it may not be true of every single group out there but we find this it be most always true.

 (BEWARE!  There are groups that claim the name of Mennonite but they look like and act like the world and nothing like the conservative Mennonites at all.)

A short description of those Mennonite error's would be:

 *A poor biblical view of the true biblical gospel that leads to salvation. ( often they focus on the sermon on the mount vs Christ crucified )  see the biblical gospel here:

*A lack of a biblical gospel outreach to the lost masses around them. 

(Mark 16:15 )

 *A ritual form of man run gatherings like all the modern places do that are not spirit led ( 1 Corinthians 14:26 )

 *one bishop model that is not biblical

 *A man made system of "additional" church membership steps  (Ephesians 4:4 )

 *A policy of holding people in Christ to "pre conversion" sin issues (2 Corinthians 5:17 / divorce / remarriage)

 *Practicing what the world does as in Christmas/Easter, secular funerals etc. ( Romans 12:2 )

 *A ritualistic view of foot washing, holy kiss and the Lord's supper (Mark 7)

 *An ecumenical mindset seems to be common among them 

 * A habit of clinging to man's Mennonite added traditions not Holy scripture in all things (Matthew 4:4 )

 *The very name Mennonite and the multi thousands of denominational names today are an offense to God and they serve only to cause division of those who "may" really be His remnant bride, inside those bodies. Why would we say this and be against these names so strongly you ask?

 The Apostle Paul wrote of this type of man centered division when he said in 1 Corinthians 1:12:

 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

 So it seems very clear that man made divisions and names are sin to be repented of not united with.

 In Acts 11:26 the early believers were first called Christians-they followed Christ alone. Any other type of naming or labeling is NOT of God, but man.

 If you do a quick history of the Mennonite body you will see their name is derived from their founder, Menno Simons. Again Menno had much correct but sadly over time they have fallen into the trap of practicing a ritual like worship / body order and various false traditions that were handed down by both pagans and the Luther reformers that we must reject as lies. As biblical Berean's  Acts 17 we could never cling to a group that uses a man's name for its identity. Nor would we condone how they have installed many man made extra biblical rules to impose on their people.  We have reached out to them in our area and they are very determined to cling to their roots; even when shown they are not biblical. 

 Just like Baptist or Lutherans etc... the Mennonites practice "going to church on Sunday" and are very religious in their rituals but most often we have found that full biblical truth is not found in their doctrines or their fruit. Often they are not even interested in talking about the Lord and they appear quite spiritually dead!

 One quick note:
It is their dress and head covering that makes them stand out today. (Although their dresses and head coverings are not entirely biblical as many of them are very form fitting, adorned with flowers and their head covering is not a hanging veil as God's Word instructs)  It is very interesting to realize that is was not that long ago (100 years or so ) that every decent obedient Christian lady had a form of biblical obedience. So ask yourself... why don't your wives, daughters or you obey it today? (There are new Mennonite groups that don't come close to following  God's Word in this area.) It is easy to see how far the culture and modern denominational religion has fallen and then left God's truth. We strive to remind you of that, ask you to repent and come into to truth for God's glory "if" you claim salvation in Him!

 It is our desire to help both the Mennonite and all the other false denominations out of those sinful divisions and false practices and into the truth of God's Word and ways. Jesus said to worship in spirit and truth ( John 4:24 ) and that cannot ever truly happen in any place or organization made or controlled by men. God's spirit is the One who leads His true body.

MAN-onites (Mennonnites) What are You Doing?

As we travel both in Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri and through the nation, we run into those who are called Mennonites. We call them MAN-onites and you will see why in this article.

 They are an anabaptist type people who we must admit have more things correct in the bible than your typical evangelical groups but in truth, they STILL have sin against God's Word and so we could never unite with them. We lovingly ask them to come out of that sin!

 The very name they use Menno-nite comes from a man Menno Simon who lived in the 16th century.
They are calling themselves after a name of a man. Is this biblical? (Menno himself never wanted that.)

 This is sinful before God and here is why:

 1) In 1 Corinthians 1 the Apostle Paul says this:
Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

 It is easy to see that Paul (called by Christ to teach) is saying it is sinful to have divisions and names like Baptist Methodist Assembly of God etc. Yet the MENNO-nites are always about lifting up that name.
What does this say about them? Do they obey or reject God's Word?

 2) Paul says imitate me as I imitate Christ in 1 Corinthians 11
(they would have NEVER called themselves after a man so why are you MENNO-nites doing it?

 3) God's people are to lift up and obey Christ in every way but like Lutherans who lift up Martin Luther in their name MENNO-nites are lifting up a man Menno. This is sinful!

 Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

 4) We are told to cling to God's Word and commands if we love Him, not man made ways.
MENNO-nites are very much into their own anabaptist man made ways often over Gods own Word.

 Jesus said this in John 14:15

 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

 We would call out to them to see that while they claim Christ in truth, they strive hard to keep man made ways (most of all) as they neglect the Word of God in various areas.

 Note: I just spoke to a MENNO-nite pastor who called me and he admitted they have a issue with holding to man made ways above God's Word.  This is because they continue to keep man made ways like their name (for one example) and they must repent of that!

 They need to be warned!!!!!

 Christ HATED those who wanted man made ways above His Fathers word. See Mark 7 :6-9
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

 We hope to call out to more anabaptist types ( like the Amish, German Baptist, Brethren ) and ask them do you serve God first or your man made anabaptist traditions? Calling yourself a MENNO-nite means your linking yourself to a MAN and NOT fully to Christ Word and Truth.

 Often they are very persistent when they talk about divorce / remarriage/ non resistance and separating from the culture ... all good biblical points to defend. But why do they ignore their OWN SIN we ask?

 Here is my loving challenge to MENNO-nite men and elders:

 If you are serious about truth and leaving all sin TAKE DOWN THAT MAN MADE NAME as it is the place to start if you desire to please God. 

 It is SIN and you must repent of you claim Him as Lord and Savior!

 Sadly, most in these groups do not have a biblical gospel (a new born again life) but a MENNO-nite ritual faith and that is the root of the problem here. We pray we can help change that via God's truth....

Mennonites Wrong on Good Friday and Easter Sunday

A discussion about Good Friday and Easter Sunday exposed in Mennoism!!!!

Bible preacher to Mennonite man:
In love... Mennonite ways are sinful and full of lies.

Mennonite man:
oh yea, can you prove it preacher man?

Bible preacher:
Good Friday / Easter are a lies....Jesus was not killed on Friday nor did He rise on Sunday

Mennonite man:
Well Friday is just a day we celebrate it... he was killed on Thursday but ....He rose on Sunday!!!
Bible Preacher: How do you get 3 days and 3 nights from Thursday pm to Sunday am Mr Mennonite?
Mennonite man:
Well, um.... um....
So where did Jesus say he would be in the grave 3 days and 3 nights preacher?
Bible preacher:
Matt 12:40 says it clearly
So we know then; Jesus was crucified on Wed eve ( before the Thurday high sabbath ) .... was in the grave 3 days / 3 nights and rose on Saturday eve ( Gods designed Sabbath day for Israel ) making Jesus our eternal rest and Sabbath everyday!
If Jesus goes into Sunday still dead...He lied about 3 days and 3 nights.....and he cannot be our sinless Messiah.
So.... will you leave your lies of Good Friday and Sunday Easter Mr Mennonite that you cannot defend in scripture and do you love truth or tradition sir?

Mennonites.. Sinning in Meekness

Sinning in Meekness

 What a strange title for a biblical article but we find it to be so VERY true.

 As we talk with and witness to Mennonite / anabaptist people we indeed find this is exactly what they do via their man made religious system. In order to understand this first lets look at what meekness is.

 Jesus Christ Himself taught His followers to be meek on the famous sermon on the mount.

 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.


 Matthew 5:5

 What does meek really mean?

 In the Greek the word meek is Pra-us and it means a gentleness of spirit

 It also means to be humble to God's truth, to obey and have power under control. All of these are meekness....

 Clear from scripture you can be meek and still be bold in actions. Why? 
Jesus made a whip in John 2 and Paul told false teachers to cut off their manhood in Gal 5 and Moses ( the meekest man on earth ) drove off men to protect some daughters Exodus 2. Did they sin and NOT have meekness, of course not! 

 What a wonderful quality to have and all who claim Christ need to strive for this including myself. 
( I have a long way to go in this area at times I will admit.... )

 Having said that; let us get back to the Mennonites and their habit of sinning in meekness. 
How do they sin even in their trying to be meek?

 Because this religious man made group called Mennonites / anabaptists have been brainwashed over the past 5 centuries into focusing MOSTLY on the sermon on the mount alone for their ways; they seem to ignore or negate the rest of God's Word and instructions; though they would never admit that. 

 Example:

 When we speak with them and lovingly ask them why they practice MANY sinful ways like pagan holidays ( Christmas and Easter ) or use a mans name for their title causing divisions; they will often ignore clear bible truth to tell us quote " you are not meek enough" as they totally ignore the truth of God and the sin in their religious bodies and lives. 

 This is sinning in meekness. ( focus on meekness as you practice sin??) 

 They believe you should never rise up to rightly judge sins as sins or you are just not being meek.
(they ignore truth and hold on to their sins/traditions just in order to be meek. This this is NOT what Jesus meant at all in Matthew 5 about meekness) 

 See this tract that exposes the Mennonite faith for much sin:

We have learned the real cause for this grievous error is they are not taught the entire Word of God but only bits and pieces. They are far too focused on their man made rules then the Word of God. When they tell me I am not meek enough and I should never judge; I simply quote them other scriptures that clearly teach we are to judge rightly and there is a time to act out in "something other then" just meekness.  

 Matthew 18 is one place where Jesus says to indeed... judge.... but do it rightly

 1 Cor 5 is one place where Paul says we ...are ....to judge the body

 When they tell me I am not acting meek enough... I admit I need help in that area but I also remind them that there is a time godly men acted out other then in just meekness. 

 Jesus cleansed the temple with a whip in John 2

 Paul told the Jews who were teaching false gospel ways that they should emasculate themselves in Gal 3.

 A common practice of Mennonites when you try to point out their denominational sins is they will say we are never to call out others as that is prideful and not being humble or meek.

 I then point them to Gal 2 where Paul rebukes Peter in front of everyone over his sin

In 1 Tim 5 Paul says rebuke those is sin publically so others will see and be fearful.

 Also in 2 Tim 3 Paul says... teach instruct exhort and rebuke

 Mennonites never have any answers for these holy scriptures and they just keep being meek "outside" but ignore the truth which is more.... sinning in meekness. They just hold fast to their meek ways/sermon on the mount theology alone as they go on in their man made ritual religion full of false and sinful ways against God. This is total hypocrisy.  
That is also.... sinning in meekness!

 As we were sharing God's Word with that Mennonite group: they mocked us and ignored much bible truth but they tried their best to be meek .... though even in that they failed badly that day. 

 Please do not be like these false anabaptist groups and ignore sound doctrine to only strive on in meekness; as if it was the HIGHEST quality to attain for God. By studying and obeying ALL of God's Word ; you can indeed be meek but also avoid the sinful pit falls of man made false religious systems like the Mennonites, Amish and all the other false denominations as well we see all over today.

 We pray they all repent of their false ways and strive on in God's full truth.
Yes in meekness and also FULL OBEDIENCE to the Word. 

 To strive in the area of a religious meekness but then use it as a shield to ignore/practice your own sins is the height of sinful hypocrisy. Is it not similar to what the Pharisees did ( acted godly but lived in sin in the heart) and Jesus rebuked them for it over and over?

 We want better for others; so we speak out in godly love to those who will hear.
