And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9)
Our Savior who walked with man, knew the hardships of dwelling in earthly flesh and so we have been given much encouragement through the hope of gathering unto Him, if we endure until the end. (Matthew 24:13)
We see in this time heading toward a great falling away (2 Thessalonians 2:3) that there are few of His precious people and they are scattered abroad, not many being by one another. Praise God for the technology we have today to help encourage across the miles, those who have no one right with them (in the Lord) to help them in their daily lives. We hope this post will bring joy and peace to others who are struggling, knowing that we are to set our mind on things above and not let go of that hope in Christ and there are His remnant out there praying for one another.
Hope is a beautiful word, there are many scriptures given to us, here are just a few. Let that hope strengthen you.
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:2)
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:11-14)
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. (Psalm 39:7)
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. (Romans 15:4)
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. (Galatians 5:5)
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (Titus 1:2)
The hope we wait for will be with the gathering unto Christ....
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2)
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:31)
He has gone before to make a place for us, what a comforting thought...
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3)
