Day 46
We were working on some ministry articles on our computers when a man came up and asked Debbie if she was a Mennonite. She explained that 'no we are not Mennonite, nor do we belong to any organization' that we just follow the bible, God's Word.
At that point I said we left all those man made ways with their false traditions and he said he understands man made traditions as he is a messianic Jew.
He then proceeded to explain that he has a Hebrew bible, including the New Testament and that it was all spoken in Hebrew and therefore written in Hebrew as well in the first century. ( all scholars/history/manuscripts I know of say Greek was the language of the NT Word.
I challenged him on this and he had no answer for why Paul or Jesus would be speaking to Romans in Hebrew as the Romans only spoke Greek??? He had to go he said so I gave him a gospel card and explained the gospel to him and said I would like to hear from him to discuss spiritual things. He said he would contact us, we pray he does.
It's obvious by his clothing and wrong info that they do not teach all of God's Word/truth regardless of the translation as he did not clothe his temple in a manner honoring to God.
