Recently in a witnessing audio, I said Jesus was a Jew.
Some unbiblical men in the past have challenged me in that!
Was Jesus a Jew? ( meaning from the tribe of Judah )
God's Word says:
The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans. Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.

The Greek word in Luke 23 is Ioudaios and it means...
Jew from Judah.
Jew from Judah.
Here are many verses that tell you Jesus was from David's line and thus a Jew from Judah.
Matt 1:1, Matt 9:27, Matt 22:42, Luke 1:32, Luke 1:69, Rom 1:3, 2 Tim 2:8, Rev 22:16 and Rev 5:5
After reading God's Word it is easy to see Jesus was a Jew!
( not to be confused with Judaism.... another faith system )
