The world is full of false teachers and deceptive doctrines that are sending most to hell as they are void of God's saving truth. Many today bend and twist God's Word far out of context and ignore much of its truth as well.
There is a term for this type of unbiblical false teacher.....
A scripture twister is one who twists and bends God's Word to make their beliefs fit to the demise of the full truth.
Here is one of them at work:
Jack Hibbs ( modern pastor at Calvary Chapel ) says in a video that a mass murderer can go to heaven if .... he is born again.

He says even if you live in sin as a backslider your still going to heaven. This is a calvinist lie! He talks about being sealed by the spirit but that does not mean your salvation is all locked up at all.

He then talks about how God can save us "in our sins" and he makes a major scripture twister move by saying:
"God is even married to the backslidder" as if to say God will still receive the backslider without repentance!
Really Jack.... does that mean you can live in sin?
The place he is referring to is Jeremiah 3:14 and it says this:
Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
While the verse does say God is married to the backslider, it in NO WAY means the backslider is in a safe place with God at all.
In fact, the opposite is true from this text.
If we read Jeremiah 3 and 4 we see Israel ( the backslider ) being called to repent or...God will divorce destroy and judge her. He will "not" over look her sins at all!
Jeremiah 3:21-22 says this:
Jeremiah 4:1 says this:
Again, the clear teaching is the backslider MUST repent and come OUT OF THEIR SINS to have the hope of salvation. ( God did divorce Israel over her backsliding ways then took her back after she repented! )
False pastor Jack is trying to tell people you still have salvation while in your living in sin but that is a lie! In James 5:20 it says this:
