Today was another classic example of why we are out here doing on the road daily; doing what we do and God continues to be faithful in using us!
We rolled into a brand new town and right about dark we were working online adding truth to the website when a younger man; saw our gospel signs and came over by sister Debbie. ( I was outside making a audio teaching )
I came in we had a awesome talk.
I pleaded with him about his faith and how the Baptist body that he is untied to is keeping him in sin and many false ways. He agreed though nervously.
He was already being convicted of some of the things they do ( pagan holidays ) and I was able to speak much of God's truth into him. He claimed a conversion at 15 but he is 38 now and he really has not gone deep in truth at all. I love him, so I spoke HARD truth & challenged him to go deeper in the Word and test himself (2 Cor 13;5 )
He left with much to ponder like:
* losing his life and FOLLOWING Christ biblically vs just doing man made church on Sunday
*obeying all he knows today and going deeper
*taking a break from Sunday church to just seek truth in the Word
*being prepared to lose all his family and friends to follow Jesus
He needed to hear some hard truth and I pray it fell on fertile ground in him? He did message me and say he though our meeting was God appointed!!!!
He has my number and website and we are there to help him on to; the narrow path.
It is why we GO!
