Often people will ask about suffering/death and why God allows it?

To answer the question on why God allows suffering; the answer is simple; but harsh.
Sin ...it leads to suffering and death!
*It can also be to show forth His glory through it all.
The bible teaches that sin brought death and we all are appointed to die. Hebrews 9:27
John the baptist was the greatest man ever per Jesus but his head was cut off while in jail so I think he suffered much!
If God starts to act to correct every life issue over sin, He also will have to kill you or I every time we sin vs us allowing us to repent and forsake that sin ... thus being redeemed.
God does not step into life and stop all the results of sin does He? All the saints of old had death, suffering and trials. Jesus promised we would suffer but we must and can endure.
The bible teaches it rains on the wicked and the just and sin also affects all of us in our physical bodies with various illness.
Jesus spoke about the man who was sick and he was that way for God's glory to be shown. John 9:3
People can show forth God's glory by rising up in Him and over coming that death/bad experience to seek Him or it/can be a idol/obstacle and destroy them.
Look at the suffering God allow on Job to face. It was all to show his faith and in the end; God was glorified through it all.
As far as people loving Jesus / being church goers who may suffer. That's not the fruit you are of God is it? I have no clue where people that die are today myself as God decides who goes where. We love God by repenting and obeying His Word / ways. The truth is American churchianity doesn't keep his ways but man's false ways. (see my 10 point test below)
It is via the gospel (faith in Christ ..repenting ..new life..holiness/ obedience and enduring) we gain eternal life. Most church goers have a false jesus (2 Cor 11:4) and they will not enter in. Jesus said few will and He Himself hated man made traditions as they void your worship. Mark 7:6-9
The answer to how and why those things happen is... sin!
(and God can allow things that will work to our good and His glory in the end)
In love ...the fact is a person who dies could have been living in sin (most Sunday folks are) and per 1 cor 11 God kills people for that very reason. That is possible per scripture but even God's holy people can suffer for His glory. Many saints are in great trials, beat and killed for the faith all over the world and daily; are they not?
God hates sin but He works it all to His glory; not to man's glory.
Focus on the gospel and God; not people and we will all find deep answers that we need.
Harsh but true ....
