I thought I would go back to my daily van posts "for a season". To better redeem the time; I will add daily pictures, experiences and some witnessing we do, on the way. (most new teachings and verse by verse studies will be put in the Fellowship Gathering area) This post is just part of the daily life of a gospel street preacher/his wife, as we travel/van dwell and preach Christ crucified all over America. Greetings saints....
Today was a travel and work day as we get closer to our next tourist town to preach in this weekend. It is a favorite of mine as it has lots of tourists and a big farmers market! All the new age foodie people, they seem to really dislike us all the more but; we love them!
Sadly gas prices out west are about $4.00 a gallon so the work we have had is welcome to help pay that extra expense. God provides!

Doctrine Matters
I really tire of people saying they have Jesus but they do not have or do not care about what the bible actually teaches. We saw it at the last carnal music event we preached at. I asked men; so how can you follow Jesus without good doctrine? (instructions to obey Him) They usually they just look at me funny, have no answer and walk away. We live in some very strange, stressful and troublesome times. It is easy to find yourself in daily worry, fear and anxiousness unless we guard our hearts 24-7. I saw these peaceful scenes.....
and I just wanted to remind you saints to rest in Christ (if you know Him via the gospel) and be NOT distracted by all the antics of the lost world around us. We will all be home soon if we endure to the end!
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

I handed out a bunch of gospel cards to service workers today at gas stations and such. Usually they appreciate the care and I tell them it is good news of eternal life; to go check out my website.

What an awesome evening we have at our FREE night camp spot.
We went from about 75 over cast and cool, to a sunny hot 90 degrees today but now; it is going down to 55. Where we are headed up in the mountains and it will be 45 degrees at night. We have to be flexible our here in van life but; we like change!
We got the treat of sitting outside tonight for a bit in the cool night air.
Saints... can I recommend a good daily discipline to you?
Order your life so you can daily stop, slow down, find a quiet place, ponder, think on and thank the Lord for all He has done? It is a simple act yes but; so few do it. I encourage you to make sometime to end all other things in this busy life, focus on things above and fully reset your mind to the One who redeemed us. It will bless you in your faith walk, try it!
I gotta go till tomorrow, if I get it. We so treasure you dear ones that love on and encourage us daily so we strive to toss that encouragement right back at you!
