Isaiah Preached The Same New Testament Message

Today I want to share with you truth from Brother Isaiah and  show you that the OT and the NT have the same gospel message from a unchanging Holy Holy Holy God.

Read this area of scripture from Isaiah 1 then see my notes below:

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city. Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LordI am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

This passage prove some of the things I am always saying, teaching on line and preaching on in the streets. Sadly false people will tell you that everything has changed and God is different now, He is not angry but full of unconditional grace now that Jesus came but; that is a lie. I will show you that Isaiah's message is the same exact one as the NT teachings we go read and by today:

Let me highlight Isaiah's message for you: (see the underlined words in the above verses)

1) Notice the issue is the people / the nation have gone into sin

2) God has a remnant there or he would have destroyed them all (a teaching to come on the remnant soon)

3) The Lords reaction to sin/rebellion is NOT unconditional love/grace but; a distain for their continued religious acts as they live in sin/rebellion. (sounds like churchianity today)

4) He tells them He will not hear them lest they repent of evil and do good

5) He says wash yourself (it means turn, repent obey)

Lastly if they will repent/obey they will live but; if they rebel; this Holy God they will destroy them.

People say oh that OT God was angry but because of Jesus now we just believe and we make it to heaven. That is a lie!

Now lets look to the NT Word to see if it is the same message:

Here is Isaiah's chapter 1 message with the NT Word to back it up as totally consistent:

*Sin leads to death / Romans 8

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

*God has His elect remnant / Matt 24:22

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

*God hates religious hypocrisy / Mark 7:thru 9

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

*God wont hear sinners / John 9:31

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

*The call is to  be washed /repent or perish / Luke 13;3

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

*We are washed by Christ (when we confess/repent) /

 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

*Those who do not obey are destroyed at Jesus second coming

2 Thess 1:8 and 9

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Can you see the exact consistent message from Isaiah talking  to Israel is the same message the NT writers speak to people today in the NT blood covenant?

I offer to you that Isaiah is preaching the same exact consistent message of the NT Word, why not it is same God! What changed OT to NT is that Jesus brought an end to the animal sacrifices and the OT Torah law, But he did not bring  unconditional grace/faith alone ways at all. It is NOT now, nor was it ever part of God's salvation plan. Man has perverted he message to please ears but if you read the NT word you see the same God at work.

God is still a consuming fire (Heb 12:29) and He is angry with the sinner! Psalm 7:11

Do not let the masses of churchianity false teachers tickling ears and their ill doctrines of easy believe / grace alone, faith alone salvation deceive you.

God has always required a faith that saves and that faith means obeying Him in all things. Back then He required a sacrifice (animals / then Jesus) to cover our sins from the past and sins that we leave to enter His kingdom/heaven. Those people who will not have faith, repent to obey, who keep man made false ways or who stay in any willful sin will be destroyed by this Holy God; without mercy. (like stoning or God's many harsh judgments in the OT) God does have mercy patience and grace (He sent Jesus) but do not be fooled into thinking you can sin on and be covered by His Son. Hebrews 10:26 says you will NOT be covered but judged! Just as the animals sacrificed did NOT cover the Israelites as they sinned on (see Isaiah 1) Jesus perfect sacrifice will NOT cover you as you trample His blood and sin on willfully. The gospel good news is that He will save you out of your sin/cleanse you and give you power to leave it in freedom to serve Him.

Glory to God!!

Fact: The Lord God (Jesus Christ the Creator) has always hated sin from Adam and Eve, to Noah, to Sodom, to killing a couple in Acts 5 over 1 lie to the warnings in Revelation 2 and 3 from Jesus about lukewarmness/leaving your first love. And God who is merciful has always honored men who were striving to be perfect before him like Noah and Job. Jesus as Savior; told people to go sin no more, those who do the Fathers will are His family and to strive to be perfect! The same consistent message from the OT to NT.

In closing, the main point of this teaching I offer you?

It is simply that God is still the same God from OT to NT. How He deals with man in history may change some but; His requirement to enter His kingdom has NOT changed at all.

He requires you came by a genuine saving faith (with a covering sacrifice) and that true faith ALWAYS included obeying Him in all of our ways or He will reject you as a rebellious child of wrath. (will you hear: away from me you worker of iniquity / sin)

See Matt 7

This glorious Savior has made salvation possible to all of us who lack perfect righteousness. But; a faith in Him that saves is STILL required and it means HOLINESS/OBEYING God as fruit in His ordained ways and these works prove / justifies our genuine faith. (see James 2)

I hope this has encouraged you to see through the lies and false easy believe theology of churchianity/evangelicalism to take hold of God's UNCHANGING truth for your life and eternal life to come. Repent and obey the gospel to find life!

See the Gospel below and test yourself to it.....

God be praised
