Do you want to see another sad example of man made religion (most often Baptists in this case ) using God's Word in GREAT error as they twist it to make it say what they want; please read on.
Often when I am testing a ministry with its modern pastor and trying to show them the error/sin he is teaching them.....people there will say: be careful!!!

The context of it was people physically harming His prophets not just testing then to the Word.

If we look at the root word for touch in Hebrew... what does it tell us?
naw-gah'
primitive root; properly, to touch, i.e. lay the hand upon (for any purpose; euphemistically, to lie with a woman); by implication, to reach (figuratively, to arrive, acquire); violently, to strike (punish, defeat, destroy, etc.):—beat, (× be able to) bring (down), cast, come (nigh), draw near (nigh), get up, happen, join, near, plague, reach (up), smite, strike, touch.
So as you can plainly see it means to beat or strike or do harm to the Prophet (Note: I never beat or threaten to harm physically false teachers.)
It does NOT say we are not to test them to God's Word as we are to do that. In fact; in the Old Testament that they quote: if a Prophet was found to be in lies and error he was STONED to death!
So ask yourself, how did they know he was lying if they didn't test his words?

Read 1 Tim 5 were we are commanded to publically rebuke those in sin and Acts 17 were the Berean's tested Paul to the Word.
This is just another example of man using God's Holy Word in a VERY perverted and twisted manner for their own gain. The only way to make sure your not doing this is to be born again and led by His spirit, then test your own ways and theology to root out the any errors like this handed down by Sunday ritual religion that Jesus hates. ( Mark 7:6-9)
Touching God's anointed has been wrongly taught by man made religion, and they teach most all of God's Word wrong so we speak out for God's glory and for love of others.
Let's recap:
1) Man made religion uses Psalm 105;15 wrongly by saying we are NOT to even question a modern pastor/ bible teacher. We are indeed to test them ( 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says test all things)
2) They make a modern pastor into a "Prophet like position" and he is NOT. Anyone in Christ is anointed today. (2 Corinthians 1:21)
3) They are using very poor bible study habits, the same ones that lead to false gospels, man made pagan holidays like Christmas/Easter and unbiblical worldly lives of these so called saints of God. (See Colossians 2:8)
We hope you now see what "not touching God's anointed" really means and that you will begin to correctly. We encourage you test all things to His Word lest you be deceived by the massive amount of error and false ways that abounds today. Don't just swallow all that is taught or said to you as they do it to control you in the pews. Ask God for wisdom then test and seek and dig for the truth and...
