Does a Man ( Bishop) Control the Lords Supper?

In my article series testing a lone ruling bishop Mark Bullen, point #5 is the issue:

Does a man ( a unbiblical lone ruling Bishop in his case ) in the body control the Lords Supper?

Mark teaches yes he does and I say no per God's Holy Word, he does not.

Here you see in Marks own words from his writings that he believes he needs to judge and decide who gets the Lord's Supper.

While it is true if a person is caught in public sin and needs to be church disciplined per Matthew 18 then indeed he would be cut off from the Lords table until he repents. In this, there is NO dispute at all. But that is NOT the issue here.

The dispute comes in when Mark OVER steps his bounds and as he told me, "HE must judge men to decide if they get the Lord's Supper". This is VERY unbiblical for 1 important reason:

God's Word does NOT teach this!

It is more of a roman-ist way handed down by the pagan roman catholic faith via their pagan false priesthood.

Let's go to the Word of God......

Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 11 does NOT say let the elders or a Bishop judge who gets to take the Lord's Supper.

No, he says this:

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
1 Corinthians 11:26-29

Mark says "you can't just let people judge themselves" but God's Word says...let each man examine himself.

This shows How mark ignores scripture to build a false way to control his people. It is shameful.

We are to examine ourselves per the bible then we take or not partake of the table. This goes perfectly with 2 Corinthians 13:5  "examine yourself" and no bishop is mentioned there either.

There is no way Mark or any leader can see into a man's mind, heart or private life to discern who gets the Lords Supper. ONLY public sin will cause a person's removal and by then, they should not even be in the body gathering at all but put out till they repent, per Matthew 18.

This cannot be disputed using God's Word alone.

There is another issue at stake here:

Mark also told me that no one in a body can EVER take the Lord's Supper without him there controlling it all. Again this is roman-ist false ways at work in him. His excuse is we are all to take it together, not apart. The issue comes in the fact that there is only one body per Paul, not many bodies. see 1 Corinthians 12:12
So if your theology is like Marks, that you can't take the Lords Supper apart from the rest of the body, then he is in sin. Why?

*In Marks town and state there are many other believers that he is NOT taking the Lords supper with, is he?
*How about the man in prison who needs to do it alone or with prison visitor believers who come see him.
*What about the family who left their apostate body due to sin or a controling pastor ( like Mark ) can they NOT take the Lords supper together on their own and glorify God?
*What about those who are sick and ill at home?

In the years when Mark admits he wandered around seeking a body after leaving false Baptist religion, did he NOT take the Lord's Supper without a bishop there?

More foolishness at the hands of man made traditions. Jesus hates those, see mark 7:6-9.

You see, this is all a lording over false tactic by men like Mark Bullen and others. He stands in his man made Sunday ritual pulpit of power and he thinks he alone is able and worthy to hand out the body and bread of Christ in the symbol of bread and wine. This is usurping what is NOT His, it demeans Christ as THE head of the body and it is more heresy out of him and it must be refuted.

There is NO scriptural restriction on believers taking the Lord's Supper in their own in their homes apart from church leadership. In fact, the early bodies all met in homes and the Lord's table was taken of often and freely.

The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

1 Corinthians 16.19

Peter tells us we are all priests now.....

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1 Peter 2:9

To tell a man/priest he CANNOT offer his family as the leader, the Lord's Supper whenever he is led to in his own home.... is more rank heresy for control.

Mark Bullens religious building is in a building added on to his home. No harm there except that he is using it as a lording over way and wrongly controlling men. Lording over anything, including the Lord's Supper is NOT what Jesus said His disciples would EVER do. ( Mark also holds them to unbiblical man made "Sunday ritual religion in a one place meeting" when the saints in Acts met daily and house to house! )

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
Matthew 20:26-27

Lastly mark says "the Bishop must judge them in the body" but he is wrong again. In 1 Corinthians 5 where Paul is addressing the man in sexual sin he says this:

It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Paul tells them to deal with the man and put him out of the body.
And who is this Corinthian letter addressed to, a Bishop or the entire body?

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:2-3

The entire body is addressed here per Paul.

Note: this is also proof that the Corinth body had no real eldership there yet and in 1 Corinthians 11 what do they partake of, the Lords supper with NO bishop in charge.

Just as it was then, no qualified elders to lead them but a traveling Apostle Paul, so it will be so today in the last days per Paul, Peter and Jesus. They paint a picture of few saints, corrupt bodies and mass apostasy all over the place. My wife and I can attest to that for sure all over America as we travel and preach the gospel and see the mass of sin and carnality in the so called house of God.
Of course there can be and was at times later multiple elders to oversee as that is the desired design by God. Later Paul appointed them via Timothy. But it is also true at times there was no elders in place in the early bodies and it was the body in general that had to conduct themselves in proper order still. Here it was dealing with sexual sin and so it is when dealing with the Lords supper as well.

More evidence that one ruling bishop is NOT God's design but the pagan roman-ist design. It was multiple elders to oversee in mature established bodies, never one man. See the article exposing that ill theology here of one bishop rule:

It is clear from God's Word that Mark Bullen's program ( his favorite word not mine ) is NOT in line with God's Word and his lording over the communion table is another sad example of this.

Note: Mark does call himself the Chairman of the board of his body so his lording over should be no surprise us. See it documented on the link below....
